It has been dealt with.

lj has been banned for that ridiculous comment.

Well done Carl , probably the worst comment I've read on here.

I have absolutely no problem with Jacks posting on this forum and in fact I welcome them like any other fan from every other club but comments like his will not be tolerated and it has nothing to do with which club he supports.

:o ;)

It was unacceptable by lj and any one else who thinks they can get away with that on here should think again.

There's a small minority for us and Swansea who boo eachother's players.

I have no idea of the score, result or whatever of this meaningless friendly with Oirsish cunts.

This "banter" really should be reserved for the CCMB lefty scum perhaps?

Re: Wales v ROI

We got some bitter Jacks on here but Gareth from Wiltshere takes the biscuit from the Cardiff perspective, get over yourself. Players being booed is unacceptable regardless of what he said about Cardiff last night, what did you want him to say? "I don't want to beat Cardiff next season as I am captain of Wales, two draws for me!".

As for union Jacks, would love to see more of them in the CCS but that's just my preference.

Re: Wales v ROI

We look a pretty good team right now, but my god we need to be more clinical on the final third. Wasted so many chances

Re: Wales v ROI

Wales are crying out for another striker in the mould of Ian Rush. If Wales can produce a quality striker they may have a chance at something and won't have to rely entirely on Bale who's born and bred in Cardiff.

Fair play, I'll never understand how you Welsh lads can't put aside the differences when it comes to supporting your country. Bizarre to say the least...

Read what I said. Of course Williams is going to want to beat us but talking about it the day before he is going to captain his country is not appropriate.

I agree it is, but of course that sort of thing has never happened down at the liberty to Cardiff players who play for Wales

It is strange but the strangest things in football are the old firm fans with rangers and England and Celtic and Eire. Very confused Glaswegians! The rest of the jocks unite as one as you clearly know!

Watched some of the game, nearly passed out with boredom. Watched the Jocks games instead, much better until England started winning.

Glad I didn't go down in the end, was considering it.

Re: Wales v ROI

Appalling game, both sides were clearly un interested. It's a great advert for not having international friendlies so close to the start of the Premiership. As for the booing: It's all a bit boring isn't it? You don't have sing their name, but giving them a hard time will just discourage them from turning up.

Only positive from last night £1.90 for a half time pint of Guiness. Which was well deserved for anyone who sat through the game.

its not all of us only idiots, I have a good mix of footballing friends, Cardiff obviously and friends who support wrexham, swansea and newport and weird welshmen who support liverpool (each to their own). I love international day, we can all sit down and discuss our own clubs without being stressed out with how the game is going and then we enter the stadium and watch a game together united as one without any of the banter that happens at club football (not that I ever want that to end). Just great when we are either all happy or miserable together instead of one being happy and the other being very pissed off lol

For a while I have read people saying Ashley Williams should never play for Wales as he is English etc. and although I was not there, people were apparently booing him last night.

He may have been booed for his comments about wanting to beat CCFC which is unprofessional right before a Welsh game, but he could have been booed because he plays for the Jacks, which is petty, but to boo him because you think he has no right to play for Wales I find really disappointing. I hope it is not for the latter of these reasons (although we shouldn't be booing our own at all in my opinion).

I assumed he was playing for Wales on some residence rule (lived here for X years), or has a great uncle, who's dog's friend was Welsh. However, I did some research and found that his Mum is Welsh.

I was born and bred in Cardiff and moved to England for work when I was in my 20s. I have two children who were born in England. My boy has Cardiff City kits etc. and loves the Bluebirds (he's only three). I also proudly tell him of his Welsh roots and while he was born in England with an English mother, nothing would make me more proud than to see him Captain Wales in any sport (I would be equally as proud if he chose the wrong side of the bridge too).

To see him booed by Welsh people would be gut-wrenching (not that he is likely to make national captain of course).

Unless I am being completely wrong here and the majority view is different to mine, does my son have no right to be considered for Wales because he was born and lived in England? this is a genuine question, not a sarcastic one...

If everyone responds with 'we booed him for other reasons', then that is a bit better, but whoever he plays for, we need to back our national team, in any sport.

:malky: sorry, I couldn't press send without a smilie and the Malky one is the best.

no youve pretty much got it spot on, he will get booed because he plays for swansea by certain cardiff fans (not all), then he will get booed by elitist nationalists who dont consider a man or woman born outside of the welsh border despite his/her heritage to be welsh its rather pathetic.
