In my opinion the best combined 11 is
Vorm
Brayford
Caulker
Williams
Davies
Kimbo
Pitbull
Hernandez
Bellamy
Michu
Bony
Subs
Marshall
Chico
N Taylor
Britton
Whitts
Campbell
Routledge

So Rangel does not even make the squad

Well done Sherlock you have read my list and Rangel is not on it. All about opinions.

Rangel was outstanding last season yet you have someone in who was playing for derby last season, also dyer had a better season than hernandez keep trying tho you'll get there one day. :thumbright:

The same Rangel that was kept out of the team by Tiendalli for half the season? ;)

No the same rangel who when fit started in front of dutch international tiendalli. Hence the reason tiendalli left the club in the summer.

bit of a pointless thread really because the players you are putting in the team are obviously inferior to the swansea players , would be interesting if jtc or leeds service crew chose a team i think then you would see where you stood , bardsley over rangel and marshall over vorm are rather bizarre to say the least

question for you lot , are you a bit worried going into this season that malky failed to get hardly any of his preferred targets and then obviously had to look further down his wish list at lesser players so to speak

Bardsley over Rangel? If you mean Brayford then i stand by it. Rangel is clearly a good player and has stepped up from each division with relative ease. I've watched Brayford and he is a very similar player. Good on ball, likes to get forward but can defend well.

Marshall is a good keeper but not in Vorm's league yet-after a season he might be better (personally i think Marshall is a very good keeper but not upto top premier league standard.

I'm happy with signings made by Malky-you can't get what you want all the time-wasnt Gomis Laudrups preferred striker yet Bony is now the main man. Malky has a very good recruitment team and last season most of his signings did very well and improved the squad-the only dodgy signings were Joe Lewis and Velikonja.

The key to teams success in prem league is having a strong spine to the team and our spine of Marshall, Caulker, Kimbo/Pit Bull and Cornelius/Campbell is better than other teams such as Palace, Hull, Norwich, Sjoke and Fulham.

14th place is a target well within our reach.

Waddle in talking bollocks shocker! :laughing6:

Gary Medel, Steven Caulker and Andreas Cornelius were on Malkys"C"list

You're obviously a little confused as to how these things work

sorry mate yes brayford , like i say a strange one but that's your choice , would be interesting to see what team a neutral would pick though
i think you will definitely stay up lower mid-table if i had to guess and it will take a season or two to get strength in depth anyway , a couple of injuries and you're in the shit think we are getting there now with at least 2 quality players for every position , exciting times :thumbright:

So we're finishing lower to mid table now are we? You and your buffoon squad said we'd get relegated though. Now you and Bloo are hoping we get injuries too :laughing6:

Suprised Pozuelo is not mentioned anywhere. He looks a great prospect as long as he plays in the centre and not wide. If Michu gets injured or suspended I would expect him to step up.

Not seen him play so can't comment

A question for the jacks-are you concerned that you have too many foreigners in your squad. Not sure of exact figures but you must have 14 or 15 in the squad and on a cold night in stoke will they b up for the challenge of premier league football.

It's never bothered us before Gar as we've had spaniards in our squad for years now. It's a bit of a myth that probably came from some of the high earning prima donnas at the some of the top clubs not performing in cup games away.

Michu said in one interview that the winters here are not that much different from where he is from although it does rain a bit more.

Pozuelo was awesome in that 1st leg but he is not a winger as such which showed in the 2nd leg where he kept coming inside too often. He plays in the Michu role and has vision and great finishing technique.

i would rather have a few more brits in but you only have to look at the ince debacle with you to realise the money needed is farcical , as for a cold night in stoke i think those days have gone where people think foreign players can't cope with a bit of rain and cold weather :thumbright:

Think we had a lucky miss with Ince if he's anything like his old man. One of our biggest strengths is team spirit which was one of the key factors in Swansea staying up in their first season.

surely ince can't be as big a tw*t as his old man !
you only need one arsehole or billy big bollocks to ruin team spirit , that's not an issue for either club at the moment thankfully
