About what?

Re: Jacks view on Medel signing

This is my favourite

Crazy money to be spending in their first season imo. Took us three seasons of building before we were financially confident enough to part with that kind of wedge - and it was on a top goalscorer too, who tend to go for a lot more than defensive midfielders. He must be a very special player if that price is correct!!!

Only spending now because the Dane stamped his feet. Silly fucker!?!

Thats not true though is it.

Debut season soent £3.5 on Graham.

Second season spent £5.55 on Pablo

Third season would have normally been a £8.5-£9m signing but income increased by 40% due to the new tv deal meaning the transfer budget could also be increased by 40%. 40% increase on top of £9m is £12.5m the transfer fee for Bony :thumbright:

Of course it's true. Bony was signed because Laudrup threatened Huw about leaving if the money was not available, surely you can't deny that? Laudrup had his way with Jenkins, it's as simple as that. Next season I'd guess he'll move on to bigger things.

Of course i deny that, its nonsense.

The spending has been pretty much the same as last year. But yes, i also agree Laudrup will be gone next year.

This fella may actually be the first player you have that could get into our first team. He would be competing with leon, canas and ki but he would be close. The rest bench at best. So whilst your strengthening well to suggest we are scared is so amusing.

I hadnt heard of him but he does sound highly rated upon a bit of research.

Id agree, if hes as good as billed then hed be the only player to get in our starting eleven. Although Leon is key to how we play, it would be close.

Was there a methadone convention on or something this weekend?

Would of thought there'd be a dozen paranoid inbreds on this thread by now.

In my opinion you are definitely paying over the odds , but as a newly promoted team you needed to to get the quality in , but if vinnie is prepared to fork out happy days you still won't live with us and I can see the first double happening this season :D

Twaddle mate you probably right on over the odds, but your lot and others said needed to spenf 20 odd million to survive in premier we've done that but on good players, you could be right over the double happening but by us! :laughing6: should be very interesting indeed this season! :thumbright:
