Media say €13m,so add that to the £17m we've already spent then I'd say it's a few quid more than £25m. Not hard to work out brownie.

I'm not knocking VT Tony whatsoever!!! Just correcting an incorrect assumption fromthe OP which started this thread.

People saying Wikipedia is unreliable don't understand it. Anyone can post on there but not everything gets approved by moderators and you get small bans if you post false information on there to take the piss. So you can't, for example, just change Messi to playing for Cardiff willy nilly. With that being said Wikipedia doesn't prove that Medel plays for us as this information changes quickly if it proves to be false. However, reliable sources have confirmed on twitter that the deal is done pending a medical so we can assume Medel is nearly a Cardiff City player.

Assuming what? are you saying if the press reports we have bought a player for ten million pound, that it's a lie, because what we have done is put six million down and two million a year for the next two years, perhaps the pres should announce when all the payments are made, keep your eyes open you may read that we have signed Peter Whittingham when they pay the final five hundred pound off next week.

I can just see adam correcting every post on every message board, "Derby sign a five million pound player" Adam Brown replies " now they haven't, they have signed a player and paid three and a half million with the next one and a half million paid in installments over three years"

The OP stated that Tan paid the money so whos accounts are you thinking off the clubs or Tans..? and I would have thought that the amount spent on transfer during a financial year would be the instalement total throughout the year rather than agreed sums which percentages haven't been paid yet.
