If we don't get the 3,000 why don't we just ask for an extra 1,500 or something?

Sadly correct Gavin.

Because Club promised to do it fairly and within a week broke their promise.

Everyone I seen who wanted one and went to buy one yesterday got one. Hopefully we get some more tickets but otherwise you've left it too late unfortunately.
would have loved to but I was abroad for a week and couldn't, just got back today to find this bollocks occurring - I was relying on the club to honour its stated away ticket policy, which it appears has gone by the board.

They may have sold even with the restrictions. You were always taking a risk by waiting.

Not when the club announce to travel club organisers that those who went last season get first chance when they come out for the first week.

The club has always been guilty of this , never forget the shambles for the Man City cup game
They put restictions initially for West Ham and as this took a few weeks to sell out removed it, Fulham has always been a popular away trip especially on a Saturday but to sell them without restrictions to start with is irresponsible
This season will be similar to our first season back in the Championship, large away followings with our allocations selling out quickly
The club needs to put fair restrictions in place

?
Is it because the club had to lift the restrictions for west ham?

Seems odd why the have restrictions on the Hull tickets but not Fulham. You'd think it would need to be the other way around
Thu Aug 08, 2013 4:48 pm
just called the ticket office, apparently this qualifying criteria of 3 aways is not for all away games - each game will be specified on the club website.
from a sales point of view I can't for the life of me understand why Fulham has no qualifying criteria (of away games attended) as due to location etc it is pretty much bound to sell anyway, so what benefit do the club get by selling tickets to any season ticket holder?
She took my name and I am now on a waiting list - will get a call if Fulham release more tickets.
Lesson for me is check the club website - even when in Portugal!!
I notice the Hull game criteria is 1 away - which I can understand as demand for Hull will be lower than demand for other places. Can't understand Fulham though being no aways - anyone got any ideas?

Give it a rest nobhead, you don't know peoples circumstances, so no need to gloat.

I find it very strange they didnt have any restrictions on the fulham tkts. I feel sorry for the regular away travellers who may potentially miss out. I only managed to get to 1 away last season, but got myself a fulham ticket. While I am happy I am going I dont really think it is fair. Really the hull game should have been open, with fulham having restrictions. Have the club said why??

but why are they selling them so early ive just forked out sixty seven quid for west ham fulham is a good month away yet

More like 7 weeks away

Seems stupid...but maybe that is just how the premier league operates??

Fulham allocate the number of sections in the Putney End depending on demand.
Chelsea are the only team to get all of the Putney End. Some teams only get one or two blocks e.g. Wigan and the Jacks!
And by the way, for some reason Villa had by far the best away support there last year and only had 3 blocks.

I'm abroad and I got 3.
So far Gold Membership is working well for me as an exile.

I think anyone who has got a gold membership has had a bargain atm with the away tickets they have been able to buy.

Does anyone know when the decision will be made on the City having extra tickets?

It almost makes up for having to pay to be an Away Member for all those years!

What I'm saying is, it is possible that if the club kept their promise that those who went away last season could have bought all the tickets in one day and so they would have sold out anyway.
I think everyone's best bet is to join the supporters club, it seems to be the best way to get tickets if people struggle getting money together at short notice etc. That's what I'm going to do, only £7 a year.
Fri Aug 09, 2013 1:31 pm
They may realise more tickets though so you may be lucky? It has gone quiet on that front though?
Wed Aug 14, 2013 7:51 am
Any update on more tickets?? Or has that ship sailed?
