JUST BEEN BANNED FROM BU FACEBOOK SITE

It's a similar story though. Either those here moaning that its unfair to that he's been banned from BU (because he's not a BU supporter) also say its unfair that Roathie is banned from here (because he's not a Cardiff supporter) or they are massive hypocrites.

Surely the difference is that BU is of my concern as a Cardiff City FC supporter and as they are a group representing Cardiff City supporters I should be warranted an opinion as long as it isn't offensive or considered trolling.

Whereas this is a Cardiff City supporters forum and as roathie isn't a Cardiff City supporter there is little of his concern here. I also believe he has been offensive and is considered a massive troll.

Don't see what my views have to do with it, but it is my belief that those involved in the fb group are ruining the efforts of some really good people involved within it.

Well the way they are running this may cause a march against man city which isn't peaceful and ordered, gaining the wrong publicity and resulting in the real BU members getting the flack. It seems unorganised to me if this is happening already.

(minority) I for one, as part of the other 9/10ths(majority)will be looking forward to the game,which is surely what matters to" football" fans?? It's a prediction based on trends, BU lost 66% of attendees between the launch and the Liberal Club meeting so logic says they will lose another huge % at Starbucks. See its based logic and evidence that is available. Of course you wouldn't understand that as someone who makes it up as he goes along

In fairness if BU did mobilise 2000 protesters we would all have to acknowledge that they should be taken seriously. The argument that the other 20k of supporters are against them wouldn't really wash as it didn't when 2500 marched against Ridsdale.

However, BU won't get anything like 2k, a hundred at most (yes Chucks that is a prediction )

In fairness a march and a meeting is a whole different thing. You're obviously going to get more people to meet up in a pub than you are going to get them to march somewhere.

BU started off really well and for a good cause but too many people are ruining for the ones who are actually trying to do good.

If you dont agree with them your a fool,what worries me is a bunch of facebook warriors(not all many are genuine fans).Could do a lot of harm to the club with this march,i hate the rebrand as much as the next fan,but i realise we need to move on and tan is doing more for the club thyan any other owner has,my opinion of course

Agree with what though, staying blue then yes.
They can say it's not anti tan and maybe some of them are not but the more I read the less I believe it.

People can do what they want as fans and they don't need to be forced or looked down to because they don't want to join a group.

Anyone think the way I am thinking about the march, Sky are going to give this as much airing as possible they may even film the march and get the many different shades of opinion from fans to draw people to watch the match, on paper is a banker away win and they may need this oxygen of publicity to sell the game.

Which way are they going to march,to avoid them as the last time they marched( albeit not as Blues Unite)they apparently hurled abuse at City fans wearing red.

They can brag about people joining but when it comes to the real thing with the events, the numbers are dire.

Lets just wait and see how this "celebration day" is going to go. As long as it remains peaceful and no abuse is thrown then surely there will be no problem. And remember it wont be a significantly large number but it might be the start of something if it goes well for them.

However, after reading alot of their posts on the facebook it doesnt fill me with confidence. Most of the people who comment spend a large time mocking Tan and other fans who red. Way to be counter productive.

The one thing that stuck out to me was when someone posted a picture of a "long time city fan" who owned a local pub and had placed a red banner with the new badge up promoting live games there, a large majority of their group talked about ripping down the banner, burning etc and hurling abuse at the owner. To me this is just ruining the image they want to give out and I'm afraid abusing fans is going to happen. I'm not saying BU dont get their fair share of abuse because they do but they aren't setting a great image for themselves.

If they do this, and they do, BU will fail.

Every groups has idiots.
But I don't think either of us are trying to make out everyone in BU are bullies, that's quite clear in the above posts.
I personally feel the general attitude is aggressive tho and if you ain't a 'bu' you ain't nothing, that's the feeling that I personally get.
But then again I don't give a shit what people think but can see why people are resisting it.
