I know I wont Tony but out of respect for the person who was stated to me then it maybe completely incorrect and naming him would be wrong.

If your story was true Wyn H would have had criminal proceedings taken against him.

Bribery is far more serious than wasting police tine.

Unfortunately it was a private conversation and no concreate proof however former Councillors who actually got the plan through before the 2008 election only for it to be later blocked by the WAG were actually employed by him shortly after their lost their seats in the 2008 Election. Once the Independents gained control in 2008 then he knew he would never get it passed through the first barrier which was the Council once control changed hands hense why he was offering this bribe. The land has no been sold because he knew that there would be no chance for him to get the coal out of that land while mountain opposite is having its coal taken out.

So what your saying is that you accused the feller of trying to bribe you. You told the police and
the Council that he tried to bribe you but you have absolutely not one iota of proof?

I hope he reads this board you thick fucker. You have just committed libel.

I had to report to it both organisations to protect myself because I had to excuse myself to vote because of that.

In fact I hope he reads this because the people need to know excatly what was going on at the time as there were other people involved and present during the conversation but refused to speak to the police. However if it ever went to court then the other people would need to tell the court why his vechile was on its way to the location meet as it was clearly spotted on CCTV but still refused to speak.

Funnily enough i was in a pub also last week, when allegedly I heard similar accusations about the alleged person allegedly, but until I read this post, but what's that saying about smoke allegedly.

Also allegedly, there's a story allegedly about the same alleged poster doing something in Ibiza allegedly.

Yes Tone, he brought land on the mountain between Merthyr and Aberdare from British Coal and wanted to get the coal out out and use the profits to 'apprantely' help the club. The plan was actually passed when the previous Labour administration was in office in Merthyr prior to the 2008 elections. Then the WAG called in the project to do their own investigations and quickly refused it because it was flawed for over 50 different reasons!!! Each appeal cost him around £50k each time but he couldn't get an appeal set up in time between the priod of the WAG turning it down and the 2008 Election so the moment the result come in he had to change his plans quickly because Labour were kicked out. He then quickly employed some of the councillors who were kicked out in an attempt to get the project passed the first stage again which was Full Council. However after doing the sums he knew that he would not get it through unless he got some Independent members and the reason he wanted to make me the offer was because publicly we were known to really dislike each other even through we had done business before he thought that the best option would be do use me to get at the other members. He got me up there as I thought it was to do with other business (He knew I wanted to supply to club with agency staff) but then the talks changed more or less as soon as I got to the meet. As stated he offered me £250k and £100k for anyone who I could get onside. There were others there and the police know they were there at the time but they refused to talk about it.

I got back to Merthyr and reported it to both the Council and Police and for the next few weeks my life was a nightmare if I'm honest with you but that is 100% truth.

More about the background can actually be found on Parliment papers because it was raised in there: http://www.publications.parliament.uk/p ... 2/fg25.htm
