 just like it's others choice to dislike the rebrand. You seem to be happy to tell others to wear red, but when people tell you to wear blue.. You get all upset.

You dont get a say sorry mate, after all, we was just a twinkle in our dads eye when his father was watching the BLUEbirds.

What an absolute clown.

Based on that Pic it hardly a sea of red is it?

Fans will jus have to accept some fans will wear red, some will wear blue.
Fans at Grounds up and down the country will be wearing home and away strips at home and away games and its no issue.
I have no ill will to any fan who wears red in support of the team or any fan who wears blue in support of the team.
They're both supporting the team.

Why moan at fans, aim your frustrations at those with the power to do something about it.

Well that post is a load of nonsense.

A) who are you to tell people to go to games or not?
B) Tan leaving does not mean we would go straight into conference. What a ridiculous thing to say.

"If I go, I will leave you in safe hands." VT.

You make it sound like Tan is the only man in the world who could own Cardiff City FC FFS.

Fair play Chuckles.. You do talk a lot of sense and I agree with the majority of your posts on here.

If people want to join BU then that is up to them, I for one have joined.
If people hate BU then that again is up to them.
BU just want fans who want a return to the blue to join in with the protests. Whether that means attending BU meetings or purely just by wearing blue at games.

PERSONALLY, I almost vomit every time I see a full grown man wearing the rebranded "home strip"... I understand that it is that mans' choice as I am not a member of any fashion police force but as a BLUEbird, I personally couldn't do it.

I appreciate what Tan has done for the club in terms of financial banking, buying players and getting rid of our debt BUT as Chuckles has said, Tan isn't the only person in the world who could be the owner of our club. As much as I appreciate his backing, I detest the rebrand and will attend EVERY game wearing my blue kit.

Bluebirds Unite has given me hope that our blue identity isn't over - the red is just acting as thick fog over our proper identity :ayatollah:

Apologies, you didn't say that... My mistake.

You did however tell people to respect the club & not just a colour. Well for many, the colour is part of Cardiff City, just like colours are linked with other clubs too. It's part of their identity.

I can't fathom why people would want to wear a shirt that is the direct involvement of the loss of the clubs identity. Each to their own, but I find it crazy.

Probably because the players are wearing this kit .
The same kit that embodies the financial investment that our owner has forwarded us.

As for the general Thread It's a tad bit (glass house/stone throw) vibe saying "don't tells what we can or cannot wear" on a thread that's basically saying "Oh God look war they're wearing".

Sorry barry:apology accepted! However I didnot tell fans to repect the club either."he asks you to respect all fans of cardiff city and not a colour" is what was in that post! He being my dad.

Sat in the grandstand with my nipper and ninian stand was certainly mostly red and it seems the kids want the red strip judging by the way shirts were going through the club shop door

To me, respecting the club would be keeping its identity and traditions alive, by wearing blue.

As I said though, each to their own.

Wholeheartedly agree in theory.

But would you berate or belittle a fan who wore something you disagreed with?

Would you stand by the actions of Someone who did?

Re: Sea of red in the Grandstand

Sat Aug 03, 2013 5:20 pm

No! You accused me of saying things that clearly i didnt. My dad said respect all fans!! meaning he should'nt be subject to arsholes making snide remarks about what he chooses to wear.please also note that nowhere in my post does it say i agree with his choice either!! I personally want blue back as soon as we can but don't agree with bu's method of slating those who accept(albeit temporary for some)the re-brand.

I don't care what people's opinions on the rebrand are. I wear my blue scarf down the city and I enjoy the football. Just as others wear red or blue down the city and enjoy the football.

I think that the red supporters receive a lot more aggro from anti-rebrand supporters for accepting change and are sometimes more defensive or upset as you put it.

The best for everyone is to not mind what other fans are doing in this instance, but accept there are different opinions and move on. People accepting of the rebrand accept it and watch the football & people who aren't accepting of the rebrand wear blue/ protest etc and watch the football

We all support Cardiff City FC and that's what matters

And anti-rebrand fans have been the subject of threats and warnings of physical violence and name calling too. Both sides as bad as each other.

No.
But please elaborate on your theory....

To say "they wear red they don't care" would be like to say "You don't support the team that play in red because you're wearing blue".
