Yes the deal is now 50:50 but it looks more promising than it did a week ago.
Hoping for news in the next 24hrs .

If Tan wants to spend it then who are we to argue? :laughing6:

Tan isn't spending it though is he! Tan is still LOANING us the money until he converts the debt to equity (I thought he promised to do this if he settled the Langston debt), with a 7% interest!

And you think something that big,can be done overnight, dont think so mate

Maybe not, but a statement from Tan confirming he will still convert the debt to equity as promised wouldn't go amiss would it?

Are you for real?

THE ONLY reason fans are against Tan is due to him changing the identity of our club and killing off our traditions. He has caused a huge divide amongst the fans because of this.

If Tan did a U-Turn on the rebrand and put us back to blue then that is when ALL fans will appreciate him!

Hopefully, we will know sooner rather than later whether the deal will happen but, like Caulker, Malky and his staff have sold the club to Capoue.

Like the Tom Ince talks everything was agreed by the clubs and the player but ultimately it is down to the player whether he wants to sign for a newly promoted team.

Hopefully it won't go like the Ince deal did.

Malky is looking at bringing in a winger and I see that Odemwingie is being linked but I wouldn't be at all surprised if there is another pacy, direct wide man that Malky is looking closely at.

A press conference will be held down the Vale tomorrow where new signings Brayford, Moore and Caulker will sit with Malky to answer questions.

Season tickets will be posted out next week.

There's always one, Gwyn was right

Please explain how my post is false in any way? I am delighted with the players we are bringing in, but the longer things go without Tan converting the debt to equity, the more worried the sensible fans will be about the financial situation of our football club. It makes me laugh how fans go along with the rebrand for the "financial stability of our club", yet when Tan continues loaning us money to sign players and I express my worries, the same fans shoot me down!

don't be so stupid it doesn't take days to transfer debt to equity it could take months, you don't know anything, always the same no matter what VT does you still have a go, pathetic

Agree whole-heartedly with this comment from igovernor. Tonteg Bluebird is amongst the more negative anti-Tan posters

How can you call him ungrateful when he hasn't even made his mind up. It is only natural for a player to want a bigger move if it is in the offering.

Cause his loans are charged with interest that he isn't actually receiving, he hasn't taken a penny of this interest he is owed from the club as of yet, so once he converts debt to equity which he will the interest won't exist simples

Hiya Carl,

Not to sound ignorant pal but what role do you actually play within the club to come out with all this inside info? Ive only just heard that you were the main man who got Steven Caulker to sign on the dotted line and join Cardiff.

I would like to introduce myself I am Carl's legal counsel and I have advised him not to comment purely due to the fact that you seem to be a stirring little shit.

Ok so as his "Legal counsel" would you be able to share what role Carl plays within the club, when I read the below "supposedly written by Carl" I was just interested to find out.

"By know you will all know we have signed Spurs and England star Steven Caulker. I have known about this since last week and in fact played part as key negotiator between the club and Caulker's representatives. I took the choice not to post any informaton regarding the transfer as talks were at a delicate stage and I didn't want an important deal being scuppered at a crucial part of our pre season programme.
Steven will join up with the squad tomorrow and I hear the squad are looking forward to the season."

And as for you sir, your comment to me "purely due to the fact that you seem to be a stirring little shit" you really don't need me to tell you where you can stick that do I

I feel for you, TonTeg Bluebird. Is that the best response you could come up with?

Just for you I have posted this with no 'smilies' (other than the embarrassing one) and using words of as few syllables as I can

But don't you worry about the style of my posts. Concern yourself more with its content, fella

I rarely comment on your posts but where I do it is because I vehemently disagree with your comments, so don't make yourself out to be any more important to me than you really are; because you most certainly are not

What you are, however, is a very vocal component of the anti-Tan faction and (like some others) you have let it become the all consuming factor in your alleged 'support' for the club and I find that more than a little odd, as overall Tan has brought this club into the 21st Century and taken it to the top table of the footballing world

You (and others) harp on about how the club has been destroyed and how there are (quote) "deep divides" between supporters when in reality it is only the vocal few like yourself that keep it 'on the boiler' so to speak

Talk to those outside your own circle of friends, fella. Despite their loud rhetoric, the anti-Tan's are actually a tiny minority of Cardiff City FC supporters and most are grateful and appreciative of the support he has given to Malky in getting us to where we are now and where we hope to remain

You obviously miss the whole point if you genuinely believe that any Bluebird supporter would want to keep the red out of choice but the simple fact is that Vincent Tan has made his decision and isn't about to change it because TonTeg Bluebird doesn't like it and is all consumed with the the issue above everything else that is going so well at a club that was on its knees just a couple of years ago

Your comment (quote) "I pretty much disagree with every post you make" made me smile, fella, and shows the complete lack of understanding you have on the whole situation and of the position the vast majority of supporters have (somewhat reluctantly on the colour issue) taken on where Cardiff City FC were and are in just three or four short years. So with that in mind, I am actually chuffed to beans you disagree with me, fella

I think maybe you would have preferred it if we had taken the Coventry City route but for me personally I think this way is far better! LOL (Note: No 'smilie' used just for you)

I never expected such a turnaround and after too many years supporting a 'sleeping giant' I am ecstatic that we are where we are. Woe betide me for appreciating the men (Malky and Tan) who made it happen though, eh?

What a pity you never expressed your views so loudly when we lived a short distance apart but that's the internet for you, eh?
