YES, it's a farce. If he wants to raise money for a charity, he can do it on his own. The club are using it for PR.

Agreed, he has signed on non contract terms (not getting paid) and will turn out for the development sides when he is not touring. Money raised at those games (9k turned out to see him in a friendly before!) will go straight to the hospice.

On top of that, Doncaster will attract lots of people who would never usually go and watch them. It's a great idea all around!
