I hold my hands up, I was wrong.

Caulker's antics off the pitch have ruined his potential to progress and Mutch's injuries have also stopped his progression.

My OP has been totally misunderstood by some of you though. I said we had a spine of young English players who could have the potential to break into the England team. That's different to saying I think they will definitely break into the England team in the future.

My OP was made a sticky at the time too so whatever mod stickied this thread obviously didn't think it was ridiculous as some of you think.

This forum was very positive back then and extremely pro Milky. If you'd have made a thread praising their hairstyles it would have been stickied.

Mutch and Caulker are the only players on that list which had the potential to play for England. The rest are Championship standard.
