Couldn't agree with you more. Patience is a virtue, and we all know that Malky plays his cards close to his chest. I've got every confidence in his tactics, and am sure that when the season starts he will field a team that will compete on an equal footing with the majority of teams in the Premiership. Perhaps I'm an optimist, but after 40 years of following the City, why shouldn't I be?

Yes well said fella.of course the blue red issue has tainted it a bit for us old guard.but ive waited years for this and all those years of everyone laughing at me for being a city fan while following sides they have never seen play live are over.we are there.i never thought it would ever happen in my lifetime and i sometimes felt i had given my son and daughter a life of football disappointment but we are there.lets back the big fella even if we a struggling down the bottom early on coz we need to stay strong and tough it out together.keep the faith bluebirds we are on a rollercoaster ride.

Judging by the quality of players talking to Malky, he seems to have the football playing world respecting him.
