Wind ups? I was stating the truth until you started abusing and ridiculing. I started getting abuse for saying it as it is, loads of Jacks used to be Cardiff City fans. You think your rugby loving town of fans suddenly decided they liked football and came out in a force to support you? Not a chance and neither did The Valleys. Cardiff City jumped the fence to support you in their numbers and thats a fact we as well as you have to accept. Some even used the rebrand as an excuse to switch allegiance to other clubs and not only Swansea.

Call me what you like, brand me what you like, im not arsed as its the truth and the fact you have to abuse to get your point across rather than put together a rebuttal reenforces the point that you know you are unequivocally wrong. If i'm wrong then please tell me where all your fans come in numbers please at Wembley and on a consistent basis in your PL campaigns?

The simple fact is I will accept fans switched allegiance from other clubs to us but you wont do the same. Embarrassing.

Where do you get your information from ? Based on statistics Cardiff City attendances werent affected one bit by Swansea City's promotion to the Premier League.

I know plenty myself who switched allegiance. I know 2 fans who switched to Swansea after they went up and were fed up of us being 'bottlers' as we were known then. I know of 2 who went to support Spurs. On CCMB due to the rebrand another fan auctioned off his support - you may deem that as unrelated but to me its an excuse for a way out. Some fans were just waiting for something to happen to offer them a way out because they were fed up and tired of the club just missing out, being branded bottlers and the nearly team.

Thank God players like Kev, Marshall, Hudson and Whittingham didn't think the same way and carried on believing we could do it. You could tell just by walking around the City itself the increase in Swansea fans was rife. Im not trying to argue, I saw it but instead I got abused by 6 Bysedd and then waddle so I retaliated. Why not put forward a rebuttal?

So we have gone from 'Loads of Cardiff fans turned to Jacks' to 3 examples. Now look at our attendance statistics which would suggest what your saying is bullshit and that is based on facts.

Attendance figures don't reflect wholly the truth of the matter. Statistics are measured by various factors and considering there is a massive pool of fans who don't go to every game then this will have minimum impact on the whole as you are fitting a larger pool into a stadium capacity that only holds so much.

Cry me a river waddle and spare me your pity. You don't know me and I have plenty of mates in university and you're welcome any time to come up and I'll introduce them to you if you like fella. You just cant take the truth and instead you and your 6 fingered friend decided to abuse me. When I retaliated you didn't like it because having some of your own medicine is not something you Jacks are used too. You think I should just accept being abused by your fellow Swansea supporter on a Cardiff City forum? Why didn't he, like bluedragons above, debate the issue at hand?

Shove your psychological assessment up your backside pal because you don't know shit and are only saying such thing to score points on here amongst other forum members. That's sad. I find it hilarious that you call me a loner as well considering you've never met me and don't know anything about me. Someone phone Dr Hilary, we have an e-psychologist over here who's gonna put her out of business.

But yeah, you're welcome any time to come to Aber. Loner, keep the jokes to yourself and 6 fingers.

And planet swans is shite full stop not just because of the new set up

Of course it does mate. This is modern football where fickle fans are exactly that. Look at fans this week - Malky ain't got a clue, he doesn't know what he's doing then before you know it he's the next coming of Christ and deserves sex from every woman in the City for signing Caulker.

Im not denying we here at Cardiff have fans from other clubs and so forth and we're better off from them but I know fans who went West because of Swansea's promotion. Im not saying thousands and thousands, of course that is not the case but there were plenty who did go elsewhere.

This is the game as it is today. You may be an older fan mate who grew up amongst fans where loyalty and tradition meant everything but in society and football these days to a lot of people that means sod all.

This complete rubbish. Swansea's increased attendances arent as a result of Cardiff City fans switching sides. Its because the people in the City of Swansea are happy to pay to watch a team doing well against very good opposition. You have thrown a number of 3 people who have swapped (which is probably completely made up) whilst our attendances and season ticket sales have increased. Statistics and facts suggest you are wrong.

"Im not saying thousands and thousands, of course that is not the case"

An hour and a half ago........
"He used to support us before they got promoted just like around 6,000 of them. Then now we've got promoted and are about to reestablish our dominance they're all crawling back. Swansea only had about 2,000 real fans before they went up. Most of them are ex Cardiff City fans who turned their backs on the club because they wanted Premier League football."

Which one is it then? :laughing6:

I've never heard of anybody switching allegiance, in theory someone in say Bridgend could watch Cardiff at home one week and swansea the next and I've never even heard of anyone doing that. I knew of plenty of Cardiff who use to go to jackland when they was in the old 1st div. to watch the opposition, that use to piss me off. And they could sell out the vetch even with our help.

Originally Ely but living in Canton now. I know people from Ely, Caerau, Canton, Llandaff, Pontcanna, Whitchurch, Birchgrove and Llanishen who are City fans. Not one has switched allegiance and I have never even heard of anybody switching.

the valleys is different, isnt merthyr actually closer to swansea, yet its blue? A lot of valley towns can swing with success and find new fans, but no real fan would switch, idiots might and we all know the world is full of them. It wouldnt happen in cardiff. Fans in the capital just stop going.....
