Getting the right players in takes time. Its that simple. Malky has his template. Every f*cking
season the same old people knock him. Every season he comes up trumps. He is learning as a
manager. Our supporters never seem to learn. We've got a special one here :malky: :malky: :malky:

I understand we do not live in an ideal world.
But in an ideal world the squad would've been all together in its training camp in Switzerland.
Allow time to gel.. But we don't live in an ideal world.

As for the "It's only August Jibe" the season finished in May!! Targets have been identified and attempted.

You say you are 100% behind Malky? But what you are saying is he is somehow lacking in the
Transfer Market. Palace, Hull, Swansea - they have signed about 30 players between them
and not one of them is of the calibre of Steven Caulker. Nobody has signed a better fullback
than John Brayford. We are pretty strong with keepers, but have signed the brightest prospect
in England. Cornelius is obviously one we cant be sure of, and on the face of it, Bony looks
a better buy. But again, Cornelius is a kid who has already broken into the Denmark team.
My point is - three weeks left. Do you still doubt we will get another two or three quality
players in? Or do you think we should have done what Steve Bruce did and dive straight in?
If you doubt him then your not 100% behind him are you?

We've got one of the best defenders in the premier league with weeks to spare. Just like Brayford and Cornelius they've all undergone pre season games at their respective clubs. They're fit and ready. Caulker is a benchmark signing and won't be the last. We've got a great manager and recruitment team. We'll be fine in the premier league

Don't dispute a single word of it Anthony, but the Capoue Deal looking very much like Tom Ince again it is frustrating(Probably more for Malky than anyone else).
Is no one else wondering why no one esle has come back in for him? Heavily scouted but no attempts? Questions have to be raised about that.

Nobody else appears to have come in for Caulker either. Another f**k up by Malky?

Veteran fan you need to calm the fook down before you overwork ya pacemaker...

To answer you question here is a response to another thread earlier... Take note of the second paragraph;

aj1927 wrote:Is be lying if I said I wasn't a bit worried, when Malky says after the Hull game that we've started to look at players needed for the job ahead. Yet here we are 17 days from our first step and we have not added the quality or quantity needed.

But I have not,nor will I lose faith in him, glad to see he isn't buying for the sake of buying. But he cannot take us into the campaign with what we have and expect to be competitive.

Would be astonished if that was the case.

How often are the gonna get offered money in that area?
Between £85-100M ridiculous no human is worth that.

They want funds to sign Soldado so I think thats why they were happy to let him leave.

True but when are they ever going to get a player like Bale? Keeping him and adding to the squad is the best way for them to get to Champion League. If they do sell him for £85 million then of course they can easily buy players for the squad so its a tough one for them

Looking like a very smart move if it comes off (and according to the news, it will)...

Hypothetical view but go with me..
Spurs have needed a striker more than a winger..
Last season they relied on Bale for everything.
They set to generate around £100m for Bale and Caulker.
And are bringing in Soldaldo and the Romanian boy.

That still leaves around £60+M if they can reinvest Bales fee.

They could easily attract players like Nani(Who may want to remain in Prem) or even be able to attract El Shaaraway if they can convince him to take a season out of Europe.

Players are out there that a club like spurs would have no problem attracting.

El Shaaraway would be hell of a signing but nani is shite, you never know what he's actually going to do

iv had more faith in mm than most on here annis :laughing6: .your fans should be pleased they got a manager who doesnt just waste money.these young signings could be tans call or maybe your manager is planning on sticking around like i said when the malky to everton thread started.build his own castle .getting in players who are not quite stars but intending to turn them into stars would suggest that.another good sign is perhaps caulker wanted more game time.i like seeing a footballer who wants to play and not just pick his spondolees up.great signing.pleased for you. k.r.o :ayatollah:

Tony Mate. I hope Capoue is on of those pieces :D :ayatollah:

If we can't convince Capoue, there will be another top rated defensive midfielder that we've already earmarked mate. The Caulker deal is proof of what Malky can attract to our club. A great day

Key signing, it will change top players amd top player agents views on our club, superb work Malky, his team amd VT.
