Many have 'been through the mill' but football clubs and administration is far different. From my previous experience and Annis would back me up here when I say that there would be plenty of time for a new backer to sort a deal out before liquidation was ever thought about.

He would, either he would sell it onto another investor or maybe he would relinquish the debts and pass it onto the fans.

Hopefully us and Tan won't be suckered by the likes of 'investors' Pompey had.

Would rather VT stay anyway, as I posted earlier :ayatollah:

He would sell te club for a profit. Hopefully to a sensible owner that would get us back in blue.

We wouldn't be fucked. He can't just leave and sell it to no-one!

:thumbright: if he left now ,this minute the price would be any debt he is owed plus a deal with the new boss over sam/langstone.when its debt to equaity it,s just a question of selling his shares.if he owns 100m quids worth then the price is that plus any profit he can eek out.once you got promotion he actually had a weaken hand.no way would he just leave today and try and get it back on player sales etc.wouldn,t be enough assets plus he is buying players atm so he isn,t asset stripping but asset building.if he goes debt to equaity it is a lot more straight forward to sell i would imagine.all the anti b.u stuff is nonsense.now is the time to let him know you want blue more than ever.what,s he going to do?can,t just walk away can he?

Yes, but the Tan apologists on here tell us what an honest man he is & that he's never lied to fans etc... Yet refuse to believe him in this case.. Maybe, because it doesn't suit their agenda. :laughing6:

never lied to you :laughing6: .personally i believe he wont pull the plug without his dollar back so yes he will sell to a majority stakeholder.now if that stakeholder is 100pc kosher or not will be of no real interest to him imo .once the cheques cleared he wouldnt give two hoots

You are completely missing the point to suit your agenda. It's not that we don't believe him, we are sure he would try. We are not sure if it is possible.

I also feel that if fans really went against him he would have every right to not honour his promise. Frankly, he doesn't deserve most of the rubbish he gets off fans on here. These fans state that he 'disrespected them' by changing the colour, yet respond by massively disrespecting VT. Which is the real meaning of hypocrisy, which you hilariously got wrong the other day.

If disrespect is clearing the outside debts, taking us to the PL, investing in the squad and (maybe soon clearing that, too) in exchange for a red shirt (with bluebird on badge and a blue alternative kit) which could see us benefit from foreign money then plesase keep disrespecting us Tan!

Re: If Tan was to pull the plug?

Wed Jul 31, 2013 2:34 pm

Not at all. No agenda here. He's directly quoted as saying that... He would "leave us in good hands" (watch the video if you don't believe me).

It's a simple question, why are you worried? So many here trust him, yet refuse to believe this one statement.. I can only assume that's because it doesn't suit their agenda. :laughing6:

Chuckles, no one trusts Tan. Not one single fan trusts him. Business is a stab you in the back game and thats the way it is. There's not one football owner I trust and Tan is no different.

We keep happy and Tan is happy and he keeps putting money into us. The moment we turn nasty we'll see his true colours. Whilst he is happy he says i'll leave you in good hands. He won't be singing the same tune if we start calling for him out. He'd leave us without a pot to piss in.

Thats business. Its a cruel world.

Yes, there is. Your agenda is obvious, it is for VT to sell up and leave us in 'good hands' and return to blue.

I do believe it but there is a distinct chance the way certain fans are acting that they will upset him into leaving and if no-one is there to take us we could be in trouble.

It's not that we don't believe he will try and do it, it's that we are unsure how it would work.

Anyway, here is to many years of success under VT :ayatollah:
