And the ones who feel really really strongly have decided not to attend... I'll take lectures from them.

You bought your season ticket for this season knowingly endorsing VT red revolution, because that's what your season ticket sale says.

I don't like red, but I am getting fed up with some of the BU types proclaiming their devoutness and superiority over "normals" whilst they have followed exactly the same path as me.....

One problem for the BU bandwagon, what happen if Tan is wrong and you are not the proclaimed 5% and in reality and physical evidence barely muster 1% ? Will you get 240 ?

All I read on here is 'superfans' thinking they are better than pro-blues

If you want something, you have to be prepared to stand up for it. That's how I was brought up.

Not buying stuff with that beermat on it. Proudly sing pro-blue songs.

Mainly though, through respectfully trying to change people's beliefs through reason and argument.

I've no interest in insulting red fans. Thats up to them if they think that way. I am passionate pro-blue though.

Singing songs and not buying the new kit doesn't mean a dime when you have renewed. Tan would rather a full stadium and 350 quid in his back pocket, he doesn't care what we wear or sing.

He clearly does care about what we wear, or he wouldn't have given out free red scarves.

He clearly does care about what we sing, or he wouldn't have told the fans to stop singing blue songs in the supporters dinner at end of season.

You know full well those comments were tongue in cheek. Talk about agenda!

As for free scarves, alternatively you could say he wouldn't have a blue away kit? Or the seats will have been changed to red by now etc etc.

Re: Minority protest

Tue Jul 30, 2013 10:53 pm

It's only my personal opinion but I honestly believe it is time to 'move on' and simply support the team on what will be an historic occasion for club and fans alike

We have varied opinions on which colour we should be playing in (obviously most would prefer blue) but it is what it is and we are where we are

The majority accepted it last season in all reality, so just think about the message we should be sending out on that momentous day versus Manchester City

The support for BU (according to numbers of attendees and the increasing numbers of comments about their somewhat hi-jacked agenda) appears to be dwindling as the season approaches and the majority of supporters just want to get on with watching Cardiff City FC's first home game in the Premier League live on Sky TV and in front of a worldwide audience

Some may not want/like that but, as I said, it is what it is and on the day I for one will only be concerned about my team putting on a performance to make us proud and me playing my part in a positive but raucous atmosphere

Anyone who thinks it ok to 'spoil' that with what will effectively be anti-cub/VT actions doesn't (IMHO) have the club's best interests at heart and that would be a huge shame :(

Like it or not you are in the minority over the rebrand to the extent of protest group.

Man City home is a celebration of Cardiff City back in the big time. Live on Sky where hopefully our home support will be loud and proud.

Media coverage will undermine our celebration and i worry could also see friction amongst our own fans.

Hope you recoonsider and put Cardiff Citys great day ahead of your own views.

We are blue and every game we are getting more in numbers away like it should be and supporting our club :ayatollah:

Who are your inappropriate comments aimed at this time, JonCCFC? :?

For once, I think they may not have bee aimed at my reasonable post (but I may be wrong, of course) ;)

As usual your comments contribute little to the debate and actually are of more detriment to you than anyone else

Your post once again ends with profane comment (in this case telling some unknown person to "piss off" and "stop looking for excuses to have a go at people who want blue back")

Fella, I know you won't listen but I will have my say anyway. You are really starting to look sad and desperate now and it does you no credit at all. Just stop and think for a minute at what you are looking to achive from your posts and try to adjust both your language and tone. Maybe then you will be able to have reasonably intelligent debates without having to resort to foul and abusive language when people (obviously not just me these days) put you right ;)

I genuinely look forward to that day, as I believe everyone can have their own opinion and contribute to this (still) great MB if only they would learn to justify and back up their comments and moderate the language used :ayatollah:

I eagerly anticipate the tone/language of your response :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Too many taking the high ,moral ground here ! It seems the pro-reds & the pro-blues are both indulging in unfortunate penning ! Live & let live , you want to buy / wear red - do it ! You want to buy / wear blue , official , unofficial , do it ! Both red & blue follow , support the same team , some for a season or two some for decades ! If you love Tan , support him , if you don't like what he's doing to the club , any aspect of it , you're entitled to comment , zip it or criticise , but don't let his actions divide the support for the City ! Cardiff City will exist long after Vincent Tan's days , gear your comments at him ,good or bad , not at each other !

What bullying?! All I read on here are lies, exaggerations and mistruths about people prepared to stand up for Cardiff City's identity.

There is no bullying!

Wear red or wear blue, but I won't be slagged off for being pro-blue. What a ludicrous suggestion.

It's easier to pick on and make up things about the little guys. That's an historical fact unfortunately.

B.U aren't perfect-who, or what is- but they are City supporters standing up for the club in their way, and full credit to them I reckon.
