So what if he's 24. Some players peak early and fizzle out like Michael Owen. Other players have a normal steady career. Others peak later. Then you have exceptions who do well all through their career.

You writing off a player at 24 is obviously now you trying to prove yourself right. His age is young for a target man. He is still learning his trade and being a targetman is as much about the mental game as it is physical. Like I said, write him off if you so wish but I think Malky will use him this season.

Fact is Malky knows the game better than most, knows for a targetman he is still young and knows he can nurture him into something special for the future. It may work, it may not, but I have belief he will go on to a better club than us. He is a good player and people abuse him because he looks lazy in an otherwise over energetic hard working team.
