It has nothing to do with success, we've always loved going no matter what league we've been in.
For us we are glad that we now have an owner who has invested real money in the club and hopefully secured the future so that we can always watch our club.
As the colour we play in isn't as important to us as it obviously is to you, you seem to think that makes you a superior supporter, that may be the case in your eyes, but maybe you should understand that for a lot of very genuine supporters, it really isn't about the colour, more about the club called Cardiff City that plays in our home City.

Thank you ccfcblue. I don't wear red so I've never experienced it anyway, but your statement is your personal experience, there are plenty that wear red and have been vilified for doing so.

In a perfect world your right, everyone should be able to wear what they want to support our club.

CCFCBLUE. My opinion is .. I am not pro blu or red but Pro Cardiff.
I won't ever wear red to associate myself with Cardiff but nor would I ever criticise a fan for doing so.
I view fans who wear red as FANS!! I view fans who refuse it point blankly as FANS!!!
I view a minority of fans who seem fit to call themselves better fans because of what they believe as Idiotic but still FANS!!

But instead of taking the fight to the man responsible they just point fingers and call name towards their fellow FANS!!

I don't recall any other club having to change its colours to advance in business.

Knit picking after a bite as usual I see chuckles re-read what I said doesn't mention the need to change colours just says businesses need to move forward, I do not like red either but accept it as part of a change needed to move the club forward, u will again say it wasn't needed and your probably right but its part of the tan plan and it isn't going to change under his stewardship, merely pointing out that change is part of life and the best thing to do In life is to embrace change as those that don't usually sink not swim I look forward to another response to make me bite again as that's all your good for on here

Totally agree, were all fans with different opinions, personally I feel very strongly about mine and I will do whatever it takes to return to blue, but when match day comes if I'm stood next to somebody in a red top then we're both there to do the exact same thing and that's support Cardiff City, I may not agree with him/her but we're both there to support CCFC. :ayatollah:

Coventry city are facing the situation of maybe playing in Northampton 35 miles away from Coventry for them to survive as a football club. Ill take wearing red instead of that situation or not having a football club at all.

Tan divided the fans but so do all owners. What is worse though is fans shit stirring against one another. BU from day on have sought to divide fans and promote the propaganda off if you are a fan of red you are plastic. You saw this by numerous threads on here saying that the away ends at pre season games were all blue which was proven incorrect by photographic evidence.

I want the blue back but I will not support a group which is actively bullying and dividing fans with ridiculous comments.

not at all, thats exactly the point where were we before Tan was here or have you forgotten that, if he wants the team to wear red in exchange for millions of pounds and to save the club I love so be it. In my opinion a sacrifice for the greater good is well worth it. Dont expect you to agree with me but you could at least recognise other peoples view point you are supposed to be educated

 what utter rubbish! We weren't about to go and play in a different city for starters.

Where have a not recognised your point of view? All I said was that I don't recall any other club having to change colour to "grow and prosper".

This is because ALL that VT has done COULD have been done in a blue kit as the rebrand wasn't NECESSARY, it was enforced on the fans.

If you feel we would have died without Tan, fine. I don't agree. I can't deny Tan has done some great things for this club (as I've written MANY times) yet it has ALL been overshadowed, for me, by this horrific rebrand.

Oh really playing the literal game are we, no we werent going to play in a different city, thats Coventrys issue though I would say having to move to a different Town to play your football is a far bigger sacrifice than playing in red. Can you honestly be called Coventry City if you play in Northampton?

Im not getting into a petty argument with you, you bore the shit out of me, im just trying to make a point. Id rather play in red than have to move to a different area like Coventry are facing, id rather wear red than not have a club to support. Thats my view. I didnt see it as a move to grow and prosper it was survival and that was the cost of survival 'you want my money you play in red' its a sacrifice im willing to make.

And this policy by bu that if your not with us your against us and attacking other fans loyalty to City has spectacularly backfired.Numbers are dwindling and fans are turning against them.I don't think they'll last till Christmas tbh.

It's time they stopped all this marching and protesting and got behind Cardiff City and stop stabbing other fans and VT in the back.
Bully boy tactics don't work.

Do you disagree then, that fans are allowed to make up their own minds regarding the rebrand? Or should be all follow red like a dictatorship?

No hypocrisy for me. I'll criticise people's opinions if I disagree with them, don't go about telling people they can't think for theirselves though. Big difference.

Knew you'd reply. Your point wasn't valid as we weren't under threat of having to move.

A more suitable example would have been Portsmouth, surely? However, as I explained, I don't think we would have been that close to extinction. tan was already in too deep in my mind.

Unintelligent? I'm not the one going on about preferring red to moving to a different city... When it wasn't even on the cards. :laughing6:

Have I missed something, I thought Portsmouth went into admin. Didn't Tan cough up saving us doing a Portsmouth and Coventry. If he has a fancy for Red up your offer and put us back in blue. I think you'll find we are staying Red having a Club paying its way. Like I said earlier I believe Tans offer at the time was the only one. If there was no other offer and Tan didn't come forward History it certainly looked like a Portsmouth. This Club has never been so Professional and healthy.
