rudy is not good enough to play in the prem league,

my personal opinion is that hes not even good enough for the championship..

5 goals in 23 games yes, 2 against a forest side with 10 men both from his head.

he cant run with the ball, he cant pass, he cant shoot and has a awful touch...


he can win a few flick ons and cause a tad of panic in the box with some defenders yes, but
league 1 at best in my opinion...

If we're 4-0 up (won't happen I know) then I wouldn't mind him coming on. If we need a goal though, I would be horrified if he was to come on at that stage. Don't rate him at all but you must admit he did score some crucial ones last season. But I don't think he'll cut the Premier League

Rudy is class. His goal vs Leicester was arguably the most important Cardiff goal of all time and a turning point for us last season. Without that late goal we would not have gone up. That goal gave the team the belief they needed to kick on and scrape and grind out results. Rudy was the catalyst for that. He's a living legend and if you can't appreciate what he's done for this club then I don't think you are a real fan. Everyone was shocked with that goal when he stood up to be counted and become our saviour after Kasper said Leicester would catch us and if it weren't for Rudy then they would have had the momentum and won the league. We'd have been in the playoffs after a bad run and lost to Palace.

What Malky keeps close to his chest, as he sees all these players day in day out is that "he is in my plans". If he thinks that Eti has been a wrong choice, he would or should have said this..not play the PR game, cos us fans can see through this facade. Not heard a good word about Rudy's performance on Sat, but heard good things about Mason, Harris, our triallist at centre back and particular praise for Declan John.

I can confirm Etien Velikonja was shoved on the right wing.

The lad scored more goals than any other player at any level for City last year and has been thrown to the dogs since - really baffles me this situation......

Having gone to the match at Barry on Saturday - I have to say, Rudys performance was woeful!!!

He could have had a hat-trick, and I'm worried by Malkys comments in the paper today saying he's a big part of his plans this season......

Is it me, or does everyone else agree that the lad is just not good enough and we really do need a 4th striker whos a back up for Cornelius (Big Presence up top)????

Also, Velikonja scored Again - he cant do much more than score against the opposition he's given, this situation really puzzles me and judging the lad on 74 minutes of 1st team football last season seems harsh.....

I'm sure Rudy would be hurt if he saw some of the stuff posted on here about him.

He might not have the best talent but I reckon his workrate is second-to-none. If I was Malky I'd loan him out to a Championship side where he can get regular playing time and experience.
