Went on to further his career and earn a lot more money at the same time. I don't get why he should have stayed. He had no obligation to.

I wouldn't say the SPL was furthering his career, not when he had offers from premier teams. As for the money, typical greedy footballer.

At the time of his transfer, he had no other offers from the premier league. You wouldn't say SPL is furthering his career? He's played in Europe for last 3 seasons and last year was part of the team that beat Barcalona. He wouldn't have done that had he stayed at Cardiff.

Why is it when a footballer accepts more money, he's greedy? If your boss offered you a wage increase, what would you say? "No thanks, don't want to be greedy!"

I'm pretty sure there was an offer from stoke at the time, where he would have been plying his trade against some of the best footballers in the world and not just for a few games.
No I wouldn't turn a pay rise from my boss down, no one on there mind would. However I have been offered more than I earn now at another company as has someone else I work with but we both stayed because we're happy where we are.

You mean the offer that came in a year or 2 before he left, that was rejected by the club? What was he supposed to do? Ledley wasn't treated the best when he left the club and as chuckles said he went to a club that was bigger than us at the time. I got no animosity towards him

Well Newport County might be the level of football you actually understand

Typical Cardiff comment. You guys used to live in League Two - old Division Three. Suppose you wouldn't know that though, probably a Man United fan back then eh squire?

How is that a typical Cardiff comment exactly? We know our roots fella. 1 or 2 comments don't constitute the feelings and thoughts of all City fans and in this case - they weren't actually a dig at Newport. More at Ledley.

Now ive met many cnut Newport and jack fans but I wouldn't be so one eyed as to imply that all fans of those clubs are the same and the ones that I met were 'typical'.

Open your eyes you townie f**k - you could be a decent poster :ayatollah:

see you in the cup maybe????? ;)
