Gwyn, sadly we've never been a big name on the pitch, just off it.Weve never been a big draw, we will need at least 5 seasons in top flight football to be recognised as a big club.

Unfortunately this is only too true and not only in the eyes of rival supporters. This is part of the reason Malky is having to work so hard to bring in top class players. Our reputation as a small time selling club is a historical fact that will take a few years to shift. This is why it makes me laugh when people say we are losing our heritage and traditions. This IS a part of our history that I would like to forget. And before all the Gogs come out and say its only because were welsh, that actually couldn't be further from the truth.

My mates a big Evertonian from Liverpool, his opinion for what it's worth, we're very very lucky to have Tan and his billions of investment; he'd love to see a billionaire take over at Everton. History wise they have it in abundance compared to us, so changing the colour or badge there would be unthinkable or for any top club for that matter. Lets have some realism here. What have we won - we boast an FA Cup - won in 1927 and we beat Real Madrid once and have been in the lower leagues for half a century. As far as I'm concerned, we make our history from now onwards. :malky: :malky: :malky:

You missed have missed the class where they did reading that day, where does it say in there we are bigger than Everton, also get one of your friends that went to school to look up the word potential and its meaning.

It was just a bit off light hearted banter mate, don't take it so seriously.

Truth is we arent huge, but Pre-Season isn't a great gauge of that anyway. Swansea last season wouldnt have got anyone. This season they would because some kids might want to see Michu, its more about individuals as the results don't matter.
