Just think the media will push this and if VT is constantly questioned he'll walk. He said as much in his recent interview recently.
I'd rather be blue but accept the rebrand for VT being at club. I can see more chance for change in diplomatic behind the scenes with the various groups. Taking this on the terraces will be confrontational and could backfire.
Confrontational.
Get a grip. He's in it too deep to walk. If he does, he will "leave us in good hands" (his words).

Stop getting yourself all beat up about Tan leaving.
If Tan was to move on he would make sure he would not be out of pocket and the only way he is going to achieve that is by selling on. Tan will be willing to become the devil if it means bringing in a new owner to recoup what he has put in. That sort of work is water of a ducks back for a billionaire businessman.

I can't understand what is wrong with fans wanting our Blue Kit and our badge back and although I do not agree with everything BU does and says they are the only group who are making a concerted effort to achieve that aim.
It is important however that fans show a united front in the Stadium and get behind the team and that fans RESPECT each other whether they wear Blue, Red or casual.
Ultimately however Vincent Tan needs to know that there are a large majority of fans who are intent on keeping our traditions and colour Blue alive and i see nothing wrong with that

He won't walk without a profit........
We are a premier league franchisee with lot of young assets, he is half way to his departure point....

I agree with this post I understand and respect the people who want the blue back but too much media exposure of all that is gonna affect the club in a negative way long term imo cos vt has already said if the majority don't go along with his ideas after all his investment he would be disappointed and prob leave imo.
I think we have got a better chance of a bright bright future in red and going along with vt's ideas/vision. If we turned back to blue I think long term we would end up back down in the championship at best. People will disagree with me obviously but this is why I think BU is going to be a hindrance for CCFC's future.

Having 4 kids and 8 grand kids ive allways brought them up knowing you cant allways have every thing you want, so be gratefull with what you do have, becouse yes sometimes you can have more ,but sometimes you can have a lot less,

Well put, sir...
We've never been in a better condition/position as a club in my time and (like you) I was brought up to appreciate when to be "grateful for what you have" and this is never more true than when you are not in a position to do much about it
We all would like a return to Blue...
but not at any cost

Only a confrontational idiot would call a football team supporter embarassing for wearing his clubs replica shirt
Its peoples choice
No good trying to force your oppinion on others which is what bu is being concieved to be doing ,
If that many of us (yes me including) feel that strongly about wearing and singing about blue, surly we will do it with or without bu , s involvement ,
Imo bu is begining to lose track of what is was originally set up to do
Giving to charity is commendale
Having party / parades in the park
Meetings in pubs with bands playing
These are not what I personally thought bu would be doing
Just get all those that support blue to wear blue simple
The singing of blue will never stop anyway
But for once and for all respect those that have differnt oppinions to us

I think the BU will get stronger in the coming season.
Fans will start to turn when the club starts loosing games, frustrations will grow ,and those that have put up with red reluctantly will be more vocal.
There are some on ere who think that Tan won't walk away but I can assure you he can do a lot of damage to this club.
Clearing the debt to equity is the next key milestone in the clubs survival and the fans need to be cautious .

Welshpaul wrote:BU and the we'll always be blue campaign could really backfire this season.
The english media dislike us as it is, we'll be labelled as fans against owners and a club in turmoil. We need to be a united club going into premier league.
I respect the view to be in blue and appreciate the strong feelings. But the always be blue songs are a protest song. VT has done a huge amount for our club and rebrand aside surely all fans would rather he stay?
Can't we use the trust, BU and dare i say SH to take a diplomatic approach behind the scenes and leave the songs to support the team??
as long as the club plays in alien colours with a fake id, some people will protest, some boycott and some will remember our real heritage at every game...
Get over it and move on...

It's about time everybody realised that we are now Mr Tan's baby and if he wants us to wear pink frilly shorts, we will. There is no valid business case for us wearing red other than Mr Tan and his part of the world thinking red is lucky as is the no 8, look out for a team full of no 8's next. I suspect we didn't tour Malaysia as we would have played with half empty stadiums, red or not we are miles behind genuinely marketable teams, I see his logic but he is off the mark this time, success is the attraction not colour. If you don't like the red then speak up, he does have a valid business case for not pulling out, if we accept things in life we don't like without a fight we will have a seriously unhappy life.

^ unless your name is Tan. I'm gratefull of seeing City play a season in the top flight, but believe me if we went straight back down and Tan left I would not cry over it.

BU is a hindrance for our club imo and gonna make us look embarrassing to the world
Amazingly, you can do both things at the same time.
BU are embarrassing? Not as embarrassing as fans who actively wear the red shirt, in my mind.

How is a fan who supports a team that is playing in a red shirt, embarrassing by wearing the same colour shirt as the team they support.

BU and the statement it's attempting to make aren't an embarrassment but the actions that are beginning to creep into their organisation are.
It's fair to say that 'it's only a couple of idiot kids' for a while but it's going to get old VERY fast.
People only seem to be tagged as BU everytime there is uproar. BU cannot be responsible for what individuals do at a game and they can't be blamed everytime a smoke bomb or similar is let off.
Sun Jul 28, 2013 7:53 pm
Absolutely agree.
However, if you go onto their Facebook page then the amount of negativity towards other city fans is unbelievable.
Again you could say that it can't be helped and everyone is an individual but if BU want to be backed by every city fan (which is a possibility) then it needs to become more professional so that people don't associate irresponsible actions with them.
The only other thing I really have to say on the subject is I wish BU members wouldn't keep saying "you can't stop us doing what we want to do, we are individuals with the right to wear and say what we want" while at the same time they are completely turning on "pro-reds" and their little mantra goes out of the window.
Plenty of other people outside of Cardiff City don't like us very much and it pains me to see us turn on ourselves.

Some good points to be fair.
