OK, Having just read the thread on the other board MAYBE since62 motives were
not as ill thought out as we all maybe think.

Whilst i completely agree that NOBODY, including Carl, Annis or anybody should have to answer questions on
their history of support for the Club, maybe Since62 is just implying that an answer to the false rumours
will put it to bed once and for all, which hopefully Carls post will.

Having had a little think about it, I think I agree

Why does Carl have to keep answering to malicious lies and Gossip.
Carl is Cardiff first and yes his other team is Rangers, but so what?

Like me.

Cardiff are my first team, my only real team. The only team I can have a bad mood all week if they lose, or on a high all week if they win. The team approximately 89% of my wages go on. The team whose games I've cried at.

But I suppose you could say "second team" are Shrewsbury Town. It's who my father supports and as he lives away from me, I go and see Shrewsbury every now and then to see my father.

Carl you didnt need to post personal issues to settle the matter mate.

That was your choice, you could have refuted the allegations without going that deep into it.

Carl , why don`t you just post a clear denial of the claims so it is settled once and for all?

You seem far more concerned than me Keith, I wonder why that is, hoping to find that I have only been a City fan for a number of years? Is it to try and discredit me perhaps? Well unfortunately you along with others will fail.
I have only ever supported two teams, Cardiff City and Rangers.

Growing up with a Glaswegian step father, I was taken to Glasgow during school holidays and would go and watch Rangers whilst up there, I had Rangers tops bought for me as a kid as well.

The last time I watched Rangers was when I was 15 years old.

Never have I followed an English club.

I have seen claims that I was in Ninian Park for the Leeds cup game but in the away end, absolute load of tosh.

I was at home watching the game as I could not go because at the time I had two young sons who I had custody of and lived with me and they would visit their mum on weekends, as part of the court order, their mum would get access between 18.30 on a friday evening and 18.30 on Sunday, the Leeds game was played at 16.00 on the Sunday and such was the relationship between their mum and I that there was no way she would allow me to collect the children at a later time for me to attend football, had I done so I can guarantee I would have had a solicitor's letter ealry the following week stating I had broke the court order.

My first City game was in 1987 away to Swansea on a boxing day.

I was a father to my sons by summer 1993 and I was still only 18 yrs old myself, I would go to City games when I could afford it and/or when I did not have a football game myself.

Personally I would not have bothered to answer the stupid claims had you not created a thread as I know thr truth and quite simply it is none of your business or anyone else's. I myself would be embarrassed to even ask somebody such a question.

Ooooo what's all this about now???? Btw Carl my mate said thanks for giving him one of your old Swansea tops, only one missing from his collection over the past 10 years ;-)

Unfortunately, the way the keyboard warriors work is that if you don't give a full and detailed answer then you have something to hide.

If I had just said I have never been a Leeds fan then I suspect it would not have been enough, as some idiot is claiming his brother worked with me 'for ages' and that I was a Leeds fan and was at the FA Cup game but in the away end, when in fact I sat at home with two mates, one a Spurs fans and the other United, watched the game then went and collected my sons from their mothers.

And also I won a couple of quid off 3 people in work on that game too, I bet each of them £20 that City would beat Leeds, one was my manager who is a Leeds fan, another was a foreman at work, a Liverpool fan and last but not least SA1 Jack off this forum who used to work with us, he is a Jack and a Leeds fan, so he can vouch that I have never been a Leeds fan too.

This guy has developed an obsession with you, Curt! A weird obsession at that!

First claiming you never worked for the paper (paid or otherwise) viewtopic.php?f=2&t=117927&start=30 and now casting aspersions on whether you're even a proper city fan.

I find all these attempts at point scoring disappointing.

Whilst I'm against Carl's method of posting information and claims to be ITK, the fact that he's had to come on here and divulge his personal life is totally wrong & I feel for Carl having to do so & can understand why he is pissed off.

Whilst I am of the thought that if you like putting yourself in the limelight, you have to take being "shot at", cheap accusations like this are wrong & this is something that Carl shouldn't have to do.

Damned Yankee, I noticed and was shocked u believed them the other day when Milly made up a story that Baz was removed as a mod, due to his dislike of Sam, Thankfully Baz told the truth, 3 mods were removed for not doing any admin on here for weeks, making it unfair on those doing all the work.

In a way this thread has proven my point. By Carl making his clear statement elsewhere in this thread , it does exactly what I suggested - putting a rumour raised without foundation by others (not me you will have noted)to bed once and for all.

What this thread has also raised for me though , on the downside ,is the frequent knee jerk reaction of you and Carl without reading or understanding posts or words in them properly. That`s why I don`t post on here as much as on Mike`s board (some may well say "thank God for that").

It was merely an example Annis .As you know , I gave others , such as on the abuse and some false accusations Sam Hammam received from some posters.

So to put the icing on the cake you try to imply they are somehow illiterate? Completely unnecessary.

Carl is a liar, he follows Clydebank with me every week and even played in goals once.

what a load of charlie ollox.a bloke has to defend himself because of countless pops at him by people who do not have his well being at heart?there is a lot of jelousey surrounding carl for some reason.if you don,t like his updates then dont read em simple.i don,t mind em.how the flaming hell he got it in the neck for tom ince not signing is unreal.everything correct bar tom boy said stuff barry island i prefer blackpool.personally i read his updates but i know they may not alays work out.funny enough when iv met carl i dont ask for a autograph..tbf he has always struck me as a quite lad what few times iv met him.decent fellow too.after what he wrote bout his boys i tell you he has my admiration to the hilt.who gives a toss whether he was a leeds fan anyway?i didn,t go to blues till i was 16,got nicked and the rest is history as they say.iv only been going 32years on and off.im a plastic :laughing6: one simple rule i have.if i hear people gossiping/talking about me i may put up with it if it someone who has helped/tried to help me .if it,s someone who has never lifted a finger to help me but sits on the side making snidey remarks then they can go to .hell ..fair play carl.
