Just my thoughts, but your right it makes it interesting, most City fans on here so far have no faith in us and think you"ll finish higher than us Hmm

If you do finish higher than us for the 3rd year running, then I won't be commenting again on you

4th year running you mean just like the 80s and 90s.

Anyone who predicts relegation for the Jacks is wishful thinking in my opinion. Too much quality for the drop. I'd say about 10th.

Well Annis, since you've been a good omen to the jerks, let me be the bad omen. I predict they'll win the league. :laughing6: :happy1:

3rd time lucky, here goes

They struggled the end of last season big time and they can't deny that and were found out.
The previous season to that they did well and played some good football.

But I honestly think this time they will come unstuck as they like small squads and if they manage to beat Malmo, that could be there down fall as their squad will be stretched and they will struggle big time.

But no matter what happens in Europe, I honestly see them saving us and them going down instead of us.
Book mark this, in fact it's 9/1 in the bookies, worth a punt.

Annis, those pesky Jack Gypos do worry me a bit on the 'luck' front. Not for footballing reasons but because any club surrounded by that amount of 'Lucky' Heather simply has to have some of it rub off on them! :(

Heather for luck; pegs for the smell of unwashed locals!

No one hates the Jacks more than me but this is my view.
They are way ahead of us in terms of on the pitch and anyone that thinks differently is dreaming in my opinion. There signings have been shrewd and i think with there latest it has been a masterstroke. They will not go down next season that is for sure and they will not struggle either. The biggest contention for them will be Europe and can they manage the amount of games that will be played ? I know they aren't that confident of beating Malmo but if i was them in a sense i would be relieved if they went crashing out.

But the real how will anyone do surely is ourselves as i have no idea. Does any of us have a clue on how we will do. We can't play the same as we did last season we will get mullered if we do. We will now find out how good Malky is tactically i am hoping he is a top Manager because the tactics he used last season to get us out of the Championship was spot on. But he will have to change now, Interesting times ahead me thinks.

 if the jacks finish mid table -12/13th it would hardly be a bad season would it?last year just happened to be awesome for them.they won,t go down regardless of the european adventure.a long run in it could cause a few probs if some injuries happen but i think they will do ok in it if they get past a team who are already in full match mode next thursday night.last year they had the cigers on from march onwards and still finished 9th.

The reality is they had nothing to play for after the cup win, they were sitting pretty in the top 10 and already qualified for Europe. The irony is they finished 9th which was the same position they were in before the apparent bad run.

I also think we need more quality players added, but Malky has finally started, Malky is a fighter to the end, never right him off

If they can hold onto their best players they will have another good season and top half finish.

No chance of relegation and no chance us finishing above them at the moment.

They are not as good as they think they are though. Saying they have 2 different XIs that could compete in Europe is just the type of nonsense arrogant comment I have come to expect from them.

^ Spot on

I think we need to worry about where we are going to finish more than looking West. The Jacks had a top half squad last season and have added quality to it - how anyone (except Gareth Wilts) can equate that to a potential struggle this term is anyone's guess.

Sadly, they are a quality team who are miles ahead of us at present - hopefully Malky can change that around, but he'd better get a move on!

It hurts to say they will be fine mid table at least they got a good manager and a good team but as long as we draw against them and stay up first season I will be happy

Being as it's you I'll explain why ;)

Tremmell
Rangel
Ash
Chico
Taylor
Ki
Canas
De Guzman
Routledge
Dyer
Michu
Bony

We then have

Vorm
Ben Davies
Jordi Amat
Monk
Britton
Shelvey
Pozuela
Donnelly
Pablo Hernandez
Lamah

Not being arrogant dude. That is our current squad with a another striker to come in.Surely you can see that those 2 lists would be competitive in both competitions?

Re: JACKS HAVE ASKED

Previously, I had wished the Jacks would have a long run in Europe Which might have a negative effect on their League form?

Now they've made all these signings in preparation , I think it would be interesting if they get knocked Out against Malmo, with lots of uncertainty in the squad, who'll play who won't? :laughing6:

They won't go down though! Although I'll be delighted to be proved wrong.

Struggling on the 2nd team, so much so someone got sent off

And youd get banned from Europe fielding 12 players in the first leg

naaah not a chance we've improved a 9th place , cup winning squad with more quality and the only thing you're basing your relegation theory on is your desperation to be as good as us , i'm not saying we'll be above you for ever because we won't football doesn't work like that , but we're good for a few seasons yet :thumbright:

Swansea have had extraordinary luck over the past few years and that is an excellent point. At some point it has to end and the dreaded injury crisis has to hit.

I can never back against the Bluebirds and alternatively I can never back Swansea. So this season they will come unstuck and finish 19th and we will finish comfortably somewhere above 10th position. :D :ayatollah:

I love this luck bollocks that gets spouted.
What luck is this? Managers being poached? top players leaving? Best player having career cut by injury? Losing out of contract first teamers for nothing? Having player sent off in first minute of play off semi? Losing Taylor for the season?

What like the one where they had to play a reserve goalkeeper, a 19 year old left back who never played a game before and a midfielder up front for the most of the season you mean?

The straws are getting firmly reached for im afraid.
