I'll be clamping down on bullying/mocking of fellow members

In recent week there seems to be a new trend forming on the message board. For some reason people think its fine to mock people for posting half decent posts.
This is not acceptable on this forum and I will not be tolerating it.

Let me make something clear though, if someone justs calls someone a dickhead for posting something, im not that bothered, we are all adults and can take it, thats just my view, perhaps other mods will disagree.

What I am talking about is the outright bullying and trying anything to discredit people who are only posting what their opinion is, or what they've heard. Getting personal is also totally unacceptable.

Please consider the fact that the people you are replying too are real people, well other than the posters selling kitchens and bathrooms!

For the last mont the name calling of fellow Supporters has got well out of hand. If anyone continues this after warnings, they will be permanently banned this time, Ive been to soft in the past.

This Forum is for a debating and yes have a laugh but not at another supporters expense

Clamping down on Bullying is well overdue.
Some people get slated for something they've said on an older thread and an obvious grudge has been held.
Personal grudges should be sorted out person to person only and never should a person be mocked and humiliated for all to see.
As for "Dickhead" I personally don't think i've been called this yet but I would be very offended if I was so your dickhead cut off point may work for some but not for others.
Calling someone any name is not banter in my book.
Banter is when it's fine for both or more parties to call each other names with no offence taken.
I'm more than happy for someone to disagree with any of my posts as long as they treat me with respect when doing so and hopefully they will explain why they disagree and may even pursuade my to change my view.
There are far too many immature posters on here and not enough respect given to another persons point of view.
Having said that there are some very good posters on here and Chuckles springs to mind, I havn't a clue who he is and often posts comments i disagree with but he mostly puts his point across in a way that I can understand why he views a situation as he does and that is good enough for me.
Please, if we all put some thought into posts, try not to antagonise, and be ready to back up your ideals then i'm sure we can all get along well.

I'm guessing that you could then Ban a person at source?

Says the one who goes round abusing people the most.

When you set up an ebay account for example, they link your account to your ip address which is determind by your internet at home, and is permanent unless you know how to change it, and you need to be clued up to do this which i doubt many are on here. If you try to set up another account then ebay would link your account to your ip address and most likely ban you. I should know iv been banned often enough

Unless its getting to the stage where physical threats are made, then I think its healthy to leave the board as 'open' as possible.
Tensions have been high recently.....the rebrand, the return of Sam......but thankfully most of it has been banter.

In Annis defence ive been banned about 15-20 times he always lets me back on.
