Joe Ledley has a year left on his contract and has apparently been offered a new deal on less money than he is currently on.

I would take him in a heartbeat. Loved Joe when he was with us. Have been pestering his twitter account since we got promoted for him to come home. No reply as of yet but i will keep trying.

The club is in his heart and if he came home he would be an amazing player in the premier league for us. Being from Ireland a lot of my mates are Celtic fans and he is the one player they are most afraid of losing. They rate him higher that big Victor.

With Mutch, Kim, Gunnarsson, Whittingham, Cowie, Ralls, Kiss, Noone, Conway and Bellamy, we already have players either as good as, or much better than Ledley who can play in centre midfield or down the left.

With us looking to strengthen the squad further, why would Malky want Ledley now?
