I thing it sums it up very well. The amount of people who say I just want prem football regardless is cringeworthy.

I have never attached myself to any group be it KCB or BU. Mainly because I can speak for myself and I don't want other people's actions and words being used on my behalf.

Does that mean I'm less of a Cardiff fan than members of either organisation?

I also love the guys who say - What is the matter with these ppl? 'Um turning our club into a toy for Malaysia is something that really annoys us, what with being welsh n all ' lol".

The original thread to be honest got a bit silly last night but the response seemed to be from those defending her that she is bright articulate and that she and her husband are nice people and posters should leave them alone

Sorry not good enough.

She is clearly bright and articulate and I am sure she and hr family ae very nice, but in her position she has to be careful what they say.

The impression I have had is that Bluebirds Unite is not about attacking other fans or VT but purely about returning the club to blue.

Then the leader of the group goes and attacks fans who have a different view to her and accuse them basically of not being true fans.

As a supporter of over 50 years I am very annoyed at this and I am sure many others will be as well.

Now perhaps someone will come on and say that this wasn't actually said. Fine we can draw a line under it and move on.

But if it was said it doesn't look good.

I am already unhappy at the way the group gives the impression that only it and its supporters care for the clubs History Identity and pride. Accusing long term fans (or any fans for that matter) of not being real fans doesn't help.

So I'm not a Cardiff City fan according to a woman who plans to host a bouncy castle day in order to attract attention. Sian brings it on herself. BU will be held back due to a lot of peoples personal agenda.

If "reluctant" red's have nothing better to do than criticise BU and its members then you must be the one that's really worried. The BU is growing fella, people are sick of that dictator's antics

Red or dead? My arse! I do believe there are reluctant reds out there who genuinely believe that is the case in reference to our debt, but the majority of them rolled over for PL football!

If we were to be relegated this season (touch wood that ain't the case), we'll see how many of these "reluctant" reds are still about afterwards

Nope but there is power in numbers.

Strength In Numbers mate.. But Power? What power do you all have KCB & BU combined?

I see Misguidance, Misleading information. Some elements stepping away and distancing themselves from what others are saying. And more importantly I see people with fairly good intentions get dragged down by mindless fools.
That's visible in many factions in different parts of the world.

You see a Football fan refusing to go games because he is standing up for what he feels is right .
You see a Football fan setting aside personal choices to support the Team.

Either way you see a Football fan doing what they think is best.

I once had a debate on here with Sian (bluewarrior I think was her username) and found her to be very passionate about her stated aims of returning to blue. I absolutely disagreed with her stance that everything could be sacrificed to obtain that goal, but in fairness I found her to be a very articulate debater and eventually we agreed to disagree.

That's why I'm surprised at some of the comments that are attributed to her in the media. I can understand her getting frustrated because other Bluebirds don't share her vision, but attacking fellow supporters is never going to bring them over to her way of thinking.

And TBH there laid her problem. Whilst she believes that being 'blue' is the most important thing to CCFC, the vast majority of fans believe that the club thriving is the most important and if that means playing in red then so be it.

If BU were in any way interested in taking advice from me (which almost certainly they wouldn't) then I would tell them to reinvent themselves as a heritage group rather than a pressure group. Marches (even supposed peaceful ones) will get them absolutely nowhere apart from pats on the back from members of their own small bubble.

They have to appear moderate and not confrontational so the first move should be to state they have an aspiration to return to blue, but they will not do anything to harm the club in the process. A march of any kind is confrontational and should be abandoned instead for one of their better ideas of a blue day, where fans are encouraged to wear blue and ask the club to play in blue for one home game per season.

That way heritage is still preserved to a degree and later there might be an opportunity to return to blue permanently.

AJ and Tony telling you how it is. EVERY CARDIFF FAN would rather see us in our traditional colours but THE MAJORITY OF CARDIFF FANS ie the 20,000 plus season ticket holders put Cardiff City FC ahead of any colour.

TLG hit the nail on the head when he said it's too little too late with Many not aligning themselves to a poorly run organisation which is full of bitter old football hooligans who have failed to move on from Ninian Park and a large amount stopped going way before the rebrand. Our successful football club are laughing at them.

Re: Branson in a pickle?

If there was a vote to have our blue shirts and club crest back it would be a landslide in favour of doing so.All BU are doing is letting the club know that . For Tan to say if it gets bigger by more fans joining it hes off is just a comment thrown in to try and stop BU growing further.I have a brick at the ground In memory of my brother. The last line reads A true Blue and his ashes are in the new ground too .This is where in my opinion the lack of respect comes from from tan. And i see no evidence that we have had investment because we play in red.

Leeds used to be the Peacocks,Revie implemented a youth policy and a change of kit colour to an all-white strip in the style of Real Madrid he also changed their nickname to the whites.

We still got our nickname.

Plymouth are the pilgrims,
Leeds are or at least until they rebranded the peacocks.

If you are going to state stuff get it right.

Also there is no historic evidence that our bluebird nickname was because of our shirt colour, it probably was, but there is no proof.
