I haven't heard that one,not to say it isn't true though.I reckon Laudrup should be doing cartwheels down Wind St. with the players Huw's managed to bring in though. We''re after a second striker now, apparently.Hoping it's Vydra from Watford (Udinese)

Really? I thought you would be aiming higher than vydra tbh

I never made that up, but it could be true or not. You have done well. Saw one lad on SSN with curly hair? The Canas fella, character of a player.

I think you can look a bit higher than him but I bet Huw is going to put down the cash a bit now.

We're expecting big things from Canas.Comes with a glowing reputation and integral part of a very good Betis side.I'm really excited by Pozuelo though.A year ago he was one of the hottest properties in Europe.Had a big fall out with Betis and they refused to play him.Could be another Michu in the making and another Laudrup masterstroke.

Second striker, mate. We're not gonna sign someone better than Bony but someone who offers us something different coming off the bench.I seen Vydra a few times last season and he looks a very competent player.Reminds me of your lad Cornelius a bit.

With the Pozuelo fella that's what we think of our only signing Cornelius in terms of hottest properties.

Faded badly but then more fatigue than anything I guess. Came good for the play offs but to no avail. Interesting choice though.

I'm reserving any judgement on cornelius until I've seen him play for us.

I don't think he'd start too many games if he were to sign. He'll always play second fiddle to Bony and Michu but he clearly has talent and young enough to get better and better.

You dont half talk crap, i'd never heard of this guy before he signed for cardiff as most swans fans would admit so i could not of been impressed by him, also were you the swans fan who said on this forum that Laudrup would not be swansea's manager next season, something like he will be gone within two weeks when the roumours were doing the rounds and i told you its rubbish but you would not belive me.

Maybe you need to polish up on your football knowledge then.Cornelius was mentioned plenty on PS by the Danish lads whilst we were looking for a striker.

You're right about Laudrup though.I thought he'd be gone and you thought he'd stay.Well done on that and i'm glad you was right and me wrong.

No i didn't think Laudrup would stay i knew :thumbright: and i dont know of every player from every division esp a poor league like the one in denmark. And by all accounts Laudrup did have a look at cornelius but felt he was to much of a gamble for the money involved and that came from swansea's assistant manager who has worked with him before. :thumbright:

And going back to my original point, the danes over there were mentioning him months ago.Long before he signed for Cardiff or Laudrup showed an interest.I don't believe for a minute we were seriously considering the lad though. As you know Laudrups never signed a fellow countryman.

Its not part pf ML philosophy not to sign danish players you know, if someone is good enough and at the right price im sure ML would go for them, as is the case with corneluis, it not having a go at the player he may turn out to be a great signing for them, but Ml didn't think £8 million was worth a gamble only time will tell. :thumbright:

A CCFC board only by name,Allan. It's a melting pot of football fans from all different clubs and backgrounds.Or that's what the owner says anyway.
