Yes I can.

Some are very clever in the fact they come on here sensible but due to their nature they can't wait to start becoming the WUM.

Not much I can do about it atm.

On my very first post I said I'll only update you when I hear something. Haven't heard anything for a while so haven't been able to update.

I think that is a bitter reply, I take it you're part of BU

it is a bitter reply, as Tan spoiled everything Cardiff City for me. FFS we are in the PL, something I always wanted to see, us playing the big boys...

Am I excited? No.
Looking forward to the season? No.
Enjoy Cardiff City (like I have since 1990)? No.
Gonna see any games? No.

I tried to accept it and watched a few games last season. Simply cannot do it. It hurts deeply...

I actually thought of supporting another club, but I cant do that, either. Cardiff City means too much for me. Therefore I am on boycott, no games, no merch, no tickets...NOTHING (until our rightful colours, badge, IDENTITY is fully reinstalled). Until then I'm in exile.

If that is for personal reasons that's fine but you do realise that it won't really make a difference. I know this sounds arrogant but it's not like we are not filling the ground etc. you won't be missed by tan

I know that, but nevertheless I wont shut up or bow down to the mighty Führer.

Many new fans take success and Premiership for granted, they came on board recently due to the fact we were a winning team, having us now as their team besides ManUtd, Liverpool etc. And they will be gone in that second we are going down... Spend 10mins in the clubshop last August, I swear in that time 3 guys bought the new red shirt, wearing ManUtd tops... of course they will take my seat, they are free to do so. Cos I wont put a single penny into Tan's pocket.

I wanted Cardiff City (with our own identity) in the Premiership - NOT the Premiership (at all costs) in Cardiff

Bakedalasker wrote:Where have you heard about red shirts sales going well?

As far as I can see BU is a stand for the blue. This stand is needed for the period that Tan is in the club because I for one cannot see him doing a U turn. Basically any new owner needs to see the passion of the blue and without the likes of BU that could quite easily fade away specially if Tan is with us for a few more seasons.

Now if BU grow or not is another question of which only time will give us an answer.

They attack red.

Wasting energy attacking tan and other CARDIFF supporters under the guise of "celebrating blue" some right idiots amongst the ranks and the reason it will sadly fail. Great effort by some involved pity about the idiots latching on and attacking fellow supporters.

Completely disagree with every point you make other than the fact any group which assembles nearly 3000 members is bound to have some idiots in it, but i haven't seen them at the forefront of any of BU's events/pages so far, i think its actually being run extremely well and professionally. Feel free to give an example of otherwise.

There was nothing bitter in that reply at all

Yet part of your 'measured and reasoned' post was to call the pub event 'poxy'?

We know where you stand

I have heard that there is an 8,000 waiting list for season tickets...and high demand for HOME tickets. I am also hearing that red shirts are now selling well. I do not understand why VT would really care about the 5,000 people who have decided to boycott or set up a poxy gathering in a pub who wear blue and sing a few songs and talk about a load of Bollux that'll change absolutely nothing.

I would like to know where you think BU is going?

I want to hear opinions from both sides? I'm just interested In why people think BU is going places.

Where did you get that figure from???????

I meant signing up for Facebook pages etc... Worded a little wrong. Some have decided to boycott and nearly 1000 decided to go to a poxy pub event. But BU claim they have 5000 members

Bu are just a minor itch for tan and i can't see them making any headway regarding the rebranding, the sooner they realize this the better for all concerned. As for the gathering at the corp 600 tops and they'll be lucky to get that on the 25th.
My advice is stop wasting your time and effort.

Post deleted from earlier today where someone posted a picture of himself vandalising someones home and people underneath calling city fans abusive names.
Seems to be more than a few idiots on there.
My opinion, and my reasoning of why I think it wont take off as well as it could without such stupid stuff being allowed on there.

In time BU will go the same way as that chap who put his loyalty on sale with Ebay, will still get a laugh but the name will be forgotten.
