For those, like myself, who would prefer to see the club return to our traditional colours there is a better way to make the point and that is to wear "Blue" inside the ground at ALL home matches and to make sure the "We're Cardiff City We'll Always Be Blue" chant is sung load and clear.

The colour "Blue" is what the vast majority of fans, at this moment in time, most clearly "Identify" our team with but sadly those numbers will reduce the longer our team are wearing "Red". That's why, in my opinion, wearing "Blue" is a more powerful and peaceful form of protest than any march.

Yes but to some that's supporting the regime. You know putting money in Tans pocket.

I get the impression some people don't want the colour blue in the stadium.

Well I think VT doesn't want fans wearing "Blue" inside the stadium and that's why doing just that will send such a powerful message, by the same token singing about "Blue" will do the same thing.

But as fans when we are in the stadium our job is simple - support the team and the manager.

I agree, I think it is the most powerful tool we have.

However as fans we did not get this tool out of the box last season. In fact after the scarfegate I was convinced we had left the tool in the shop and had not bothered buying it. We had brought the red instead and that night I decided to not renew.

As much as people slag off BU on here at least now there are signs of a revival for the blue. That is all down to BU and nothing else.

I totally agree with you, castleblue. Each to their own, of course. I wont be wearing anything red myself, but i respect other peoples view points on this contentious matter, & if others wear red, then that's up to them,,,it's their prerogative to do so after all.

Why would you assume that anyone on a peaceful march would be looking to be confrontational? The only problems that could occur is if pro reds can't accept our right to march to celebrate OUR BLUE AND OUR BADGE.

I very much doubt it will.

Who cares if Sky/papers did "murder" us anyway.

:ayatollah:

The fallout from any violence involving our club in the premier league caught on sky cameras will effect us all. Not saying the march will turn sour, I'm just saying if it did, then we will all pay. our club will be under the spotlight BIGTIME! By the media. We are still very much seen as a club with a troublesome fanbase, they will be waiting for the slightest thing to crucify us over.

Absolutely spot on! you dont need to be a genius to realise bad publicity now would spoil years of work and most of all make the fans get treated even worse
Fast losing interest in the BU Group but will still wear the colour of my choice "Blue" but no more protest groups for me just takes a nutter to spoil everything.

I feel there has been a lot of heavy play on this mainly because Annis was seen in a picture with these guys.

Now I know there are casuals within BU giving their support to the cause. As everything stands at the moment there has been no incident to get concerned about. I believe there will not be any as well. I say this as some of them are close friends to Sian and would never want to jeprodise the movement.

I'm very confident BU will prove a peaceful movement.

I'm sure Annis has as much right to wear what he likes and put his support where he see's fit. I have no problem with that.

This thread is typical of pro reds getting the hump because the blue machine is picking up speed, there was no trouble at the last BU get together and I am sure there will be none at the next one. It's a shame the same numbers weren't at the Muni last year but it's up and running now and many are getting rattled because they know those running it are very serious and well known fans who command respect and they will continue this to the end.I am sure many posting against BU work for the club.Good luck BU and well done for standing up for our history.
