Some would say double standards....but we all know what you would say...."it's my opinion and everyone's entitled to one" :sleepy2:

Where have I agreed that she is right? Or are you just making a massive assumption? Please find me a quote where I have said that she is correct with her maths?

Although, I'd wager our database isn't that big. I know one person alone that has about 7 different numbers over the years.

I'd use the attendances as a more realistic figure to compare numbers, but that's just my thoughts.

OK Chuckmeister, I've learned through past experiences that you are a slippery fish of the highest order so I'm going to ask you a series of closed questions, which means for your benefit, they require a YES or NO answer.

Do you believe that the 10% figure given by this Sian woman is accurate?

Do you believe that more than 5% of City fans (not just message board posters) want Tan out?

Do you believe that banging on about the colour of shirt and badge will help unite the overall fan base.

Do you beleive that Tan has been beneficial to our club?

YES or NO?

Do so...

Cut the patronising crap too. I've already given you the answer to some of these questions in my original reply to you, the one that totally ignored?

1) I believe it's more that want a peaceful protest for a return to blue.

2) YES

3) I Don't think it helps or hinders. It's already split.

4) yes. Of course. I've said that many times.

The big test will be when we start playing matches. I'm pretty sure there will be a lot more red on view than people here realise.

The point is this Sain woman is plucking percentage figures out of thin air, and as usual the lazy welsh media lap it up because it's a devisive story.

I think you will find that it was Mediawales who asked for a quote from the Trust and BU rather than either of these organisations feeling the need to issue an "Official" responce.

That's what speaks volumes in ALL of this and goes directly to the negative and devisive culture at Mediawales.

Although compromise is key, and returning to blue at home, I think everyone would settle for that. :ayatollah:

I signed up to Bluebirds Unite because at the time I thought they were going about things the right way, then I read the "Official Bluebirds Unite" statement on thier facebook page and that changed my opinion in a heartbeat. The statement makes the claim that our club has become "A Genetically Modified Malaysian Team" by the rebrand  It also says that the author wants no debate on the issues. How on earth anyone can take that nonsense seriously is beyond me but there you go.

My opinion is the same as yours in that compromise is the key to our club returning to our traditional colours, the colours that the majority of fans "Identify" our team with. This is where the direction of any discussion with VT should go, it's not that we have been robbed of our identity because that hasn't changed as we are still Cardiff City Football Club. By the way the official "Bluebirds Unite" statement says they want to play in the Premier League or any other league as Cardiff City Bluebirds - isn't that a rebrand. :?

Reading the comments by the lady from Bluebirds Unite and the guy from the Trust it's clear to me that we should be leaving this issue to the Trust, there is far less emotion in what they are saying and, in my opinion, it's far more likely they will win the day.

:old: :old: :old: :old: :old:

I am the opposite, at first I wasn't sure if Bluebirds Unite would be another failed attempt, or a well run group going about things the right way. My respect for Sian Branson is increasing more and more and I am fully behind her efforts and ideas. Her latest interview has made her go up in my estimation even further and the fact Bluebirds Unite are getting interviews on radio stations suggests the group is getting noticed by everyone - including Tan. If you haven't listedn tO Sian's recent interview, listen to it and I'm sure it'll change your opinion on Bluebirds Unite https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqFNxqHHVBE

I alternate between red or blue between one match and the next as is my right. I am just open-minded about the whole thing.

I was looking at last season's highlights DVD and was surprised how much red was on view in the crowd, especially at home (never mind the Brighton game).

For the time being I wish there was some sort of compromise where at least some blue could be incorporated on to the red shirts.

Even on a midweek Wednesday there were quite a few fathers and kids buying red shirts last week.

Mind you, I'm in the minority who would support the team no matter what they are called or what they are wearing, as long as they represent the city of my birth. I've been here since 1967 and i'm not going away now.

The data base is fairly accurate only way you have more than one fan number is you didn't tell club you had one when getting tickets? Mine is original have had match tickets and season tickets on different occasions over god knows how long! but always same fan number, so Won't be distorted that much.

As far as I am concerned I welcome Tans money and what its brought to the club.

BUT

How the hell can anybody make such radical changes to a football club and expect no backlash what did Tan expect I mean common.

If another club did this the result would be the same look at Everton they wanted to make small changes to there badge and people went nuts we changed everything the whole lot is gone.

I will support a return to are traditional blue kit and if possible a return to are badge and one day maybe Tan will wake up and realise what he has done to us is wrong.

At some point I think he will sell up blaming the fans for not embracing his radical plans,he will never change his mind otherwise but for me if it means he goes and we get the true identity back which I have supported for 34 years then so be it.

I am entitled to stand up for the club I have supported for so long and I have had this stance since the day he did it.

Overall I think Tan has treated us to much like a business we are not Asda and he hasnt done the basic homework of understanding anything about football or the fans.

He will not even comprimise what the hell is wrong in haveing the red kit for away games ?

Tan dissrespected me a long time ago and nothing has changed.
