£800 ish for boiler, £800ish for labour. Two days work max.
New gas run, gas meter downstairs boiler in airing cupboard upstairs, floors up and new gas run, vertical flue through roof, properly flushing gas all safe and signed up. £2000 every 5 years for retraining to make sure you know what you are doing, but ok no way would you pay £2000. Anyone else noticed that there have been some well publicised deaths from gas explosions recently? Pay peanuts you get... well, dead.
Ok fair enough, I didn't ask the circumstances.

Thing is if your fitting it decently it isn't just the cost of the boiler. The system needs cleaning, treatment and maybe pipe sizes changing. Condensate pipe (pump), filling the flu hole. Magna clean. We put in decent wireless controls. These things add up! We charge a basic boiler swap labour charge of £600.

Before i bought my house the owners bought a boiler and had a so called gas installer to fit it. Payed under a grand but the boiler is leaking in two places the main gas pipe is to small so not efficient so costing alot on gas. So decided to go with British gas , you know its done correctly and safe. You can't fuk about with gas so get it done by he professionals I say.
