Weren't you at the anti rebrand meeting 12months ago when people were threatened ?

Re: All the 5%ers!

I'm sure no one cares less about my opinion in all this this but you can have it anyway.

As far as I'm concerned, anyone who still attends games has accepted the re-brand of your club. If you hadn't accepted it you would be outside the ground protesting at every home game trying to persuade others to join you and not attend.

To attend, celebrate wins accomplished as a result of Tan's money and moan about the re-brand is hypocritical imho.

I trust you stopped attending games when Petty & co were pissing around with your club then?

Or did you disagree with the regime and still support your club, just like those against the rebrand are doing. :old:

No. Work commitments sadly. nobody should have been threatened that night & can you blame them for getting worried? Not everyone likes fighting.

No we protested for whole matches inside the ground over the way the club was being run, including taking over radio commentary to the point where Petty could no longer attend games for fear of his own safety and as a result, he sold up.

Notice the difference?

So you got the message and went along with the rebranding.too late crying about it now.

So, you are saying that anyone attending matches is accepting, yet attended matches yourself when you had a dispute with the club.. Bit hypocritical, no?

Difference is, fans were altogether regarding your issue. There's a split in the fanbase at CCFC, so how can there be mass protests etc.

What message? No actually, I didn't. you really need to get your facts straight before making incorrect assumptions. I continued to do my bit. I wrote a petition & arranged fans meetings to fight against it. I wasn't as successful as BU, but to say I "got the message & went along with it" is wholly incorrect.

Fool.

A lot more fans too. How many were they getting in that era? 3,000 hard core? Not the same dynamic at all IMO.

We attended matches to protest against the regime in order to get rid. Your lot attend matches and clap Malaysian dignitaries paraded in front of you ffs!

If your fans are too weak to rise against your regime because there are others in favour of it then you deserve all you get.

Tell me how you would overcome 50% of the fan base then? :sleepy2:

At the time your crowd was what, 3,500 of your most loyal support? You wouldn't get the same effect now with all your "extra" fans.

Plus he was running your club into the ground, not promising £100m. Not really the same scenario now is it

Many did by all accounts.

As for overcoming 50% of the fanbase? With that sort of attitude you've got no hope. You may as well sit back, buy a red shirt and enjoy.

Jack posts on a forum saying anyone who attends a game endorses the regime, when he attended games himself whilst disagreein with the regime.

Ok Baz maybe I should have added the caveat of not attending games while sitting on your hands as opposed to causing sn atmosphere so uncomfortable that the protagonist had to leave early for his own safety.

There is the difference.
