Well I'm a season ticket holder so was just thinking I'd eventually have a chance of getting one if they dont sell out

If ticket sales are still slow and we get to Friday 100-200 short of 1500 I would imagine cardiff will not take the next block over and keep to 1500.

Surely the club will not do this until tickets have been offered to ST holders and Gold members. One of the selling points of the membership scheme was that it would entitle people to buy tickets for away matches if any were remaining after priority purchases were done. If the club do not extend the sale to include Gold members before sending tickets back or not asking for more than the original 1500 then theres going to be a lot of pissed off people who have parted with £40 for f**k all.

I can understand that maybe further into the season once we establish how many tickets we are likely to sell for away matches then perhaps tickets will be returned to cut our losses but surely not for our first match - the club must surely take all 3000 and see how it goes, and im fairly sure they'll all sell.

According to Vince's status, these will go on sale on Thursday to members who haven't attended any :ayatollah:

Me and 3 other mates would buy tickets tomorrow if we qualified but we don't cos we didnt go away last season, all season ticket holders. If the club dropped the restrictions they would sell shit loads

I know the price is ridiculous, but people are saying its paying £42 to see west ham! I dont think im speaking for the majority when I say this but to me its paying £42 to see city and ontop of that seeing us in the premier league for the first time ever, im not overly bothered about the opposition :ayatollah:
I do know what people mean though by paying ridiculous prices for the standard of football you'll see and that it will be better at man united e.t.c

Didnt make any away games last season due to football commitments but I dont play for a team anymore so hope they do go on sale on Thursday to season ticket holders!

I attended enough away games. I can't prove it though.

good information that. West Ham @£42. Wait for Man Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham, A. Villa, Newcastle. They will all be around £50/£60 per Tckt. :ayatollah:

Re: " WEST HAM TICKET UPDATE "

What I will say is yes £42 is very steep for West Ham, but firstly we are in the Premier League that's just what is going to happen. Secondly, and more importantly, if you want to GUARANTEE a ticket for Man U, Liverpool, Chelsea etc you need to be going to games like this. By October, it will be a case of if you've been to X amount of games this season you'll get a ticket otherwise you'll be out of luck/need to know someone who can help. It's annoying but if you want to go to the big games this season you are gonna have to go to the smaller shitty games like West Ham.

I think the club should take the full allocation ,tickets are bound to be slow with it only being 3 away games last season ,if it was to all season ticket holders they would be gone by now

Bigger club than you'll ever be  :thumbright:

Keep on dreaming sunshine, first game in the PL and your struggling to sell 3000 and its a saturday 3 pm kick-off :laughing6: and not on TV

We have to travel the other side of London to be messed about by coppers for a couple of hours.
It will add 2 hours to the journey, and to a dump that we have been so many times recently.
I'd rather spend the £300 ( with 3 kids) it will cost me to take the family away for a week.

I read this is a ticket exchange game - how will this work at West Ham? Especially for those of us who live in London. Will I have to go to a meeting point on the M4 to get my ticket  Trying to understand this especially as the tickets are on sale to me tomorrow. I didn't make any away games last year but am excited to get to City's first Prem Game...

It'll probably be South Mimms service station on the M25 that's where it was last time

No excuses we should be selling out for this, if it was United it would be gone in a flash.

Iv'e been going to three away games for the past 10 years, did four last year because I felt I should make the effort to go to Burnley and clap the team on a great promotion season. I will not go to more than four this season just cause we are in the premier league, including cup games. I want to go to Old Trafford, I want to go to Craven cottage. The other two games will be on circumstance.

Now they are on sale to more people then sales will pick up - it's a feckin month before the game for a start, I only got my lot today, as did others on my bus,

One word of warning though, unless you have some special privileges you won't get a United ticket unless you've done a good proportion of the games before it - They will only give us 3000 and every man and his dog will want to go. Apart from those who can't make midweeks of course.

Fulham will be one beforehand, so that will help you.

If we only take 1,500 fans we'll be a laughing stock. I keep telling a Jack in work that we are a Sleeping Giant - I may have to reconsider bigging us up in future?

Voucher exchange, ticket prices, away points, blah, blah.... The truth is, this is the FIRST PREM GAME and our first in the top division for 50 YEARS. We should be selling this out 3 times over FFS!!

Re: " WEST HAM TICKET UPDATE "

Wed Jul 17, 2013 8:36 pm

Do other teams in Prem have to do ticket exchange too? Still seems a bit stupid especially within London
