I don't agree with you about CCMB. I'm still a regular on there, but that's more out of a sense of loyalty to Michael Morris than anything else - that board is a shadow of it's former self for me (this morning just twelve out of the thirty six threads appearing on it's first page are Cardiff City related).

I have issues with this board, but I like the fact that it does what it says on the tin and it's now my first stop in the morning when I want to catch up with the latest news and discussion on the club.

Totally agree with Carl. There must be many like myself who seldom contribute but always view many times in a day and have done for many years. The board would be meaningless to me if it wasnt for the rummours and gossip from some excellent posters. We all know which ones to ignore and which ones have some credence.
I am always amazed by the abuse some of you get for just passing on information that you have heard.
Please do not stop as it makes my day (well most days!)

This message board, like a good team, as an excellent spine of posters which keep's it rolling on well. I was one of the first to join in 2009 and I haven't posted on CCMB since.

That said there are some problems. As pointed out the biggest one is the Jacks posting on here. As our biggest rivals they can only be doing it as WUM even if they are one of the better Jack posters. I have thought for ages that there should be a separate Swansea section where all Swansea created threads are immediately transferred to. In that way if you really want to read about that shower then go to that section rather than spoil a Cardiff related MB.

Secondly I hate shit stirring. There are a number of posters who do this under the umbrella of "having their own opinion" but frankly those opinions are all too often supposition, a rewriting of history or total delusion about the evidence in front of them.

This would be a far better board if we were all a bit more magnanimous to each other and didn't just have tunnel vision in our 'opinions'

I totally agree buddy. The way Chuckles (for example) goes after Carl or Annis when their info is only 80% correct is absolutely disgraceful. Nobody gets anything 100% correct and for all the good will in the world they can't be privy to every piece of information or mind changing decisions.

What we need is a little perspective and a little understanding that things can change very quickly and information is posted in good faith and is NOT cast in stone.

The best part for me is the fact quite a few of us know each other. I do believe this was kept the keyboard warrior culture down. Another factor is on here there is very little knocking of other message boards, even the PS one. That shows we don't have a chip on the shoulder attitude here.

Sadly because it is a good board we are considered a challenge for the trolls. Whats even more saddening is that some of these trolls are Cardiff fans.

As I posted above, Malky runs a tight ship & nothing gets leaked out. If anything does get leaked, it's my opinion that it should stay a secret, rather than being posted online. That's no disrespect to anyone who thinks they are ITK, it's just the way it is. The last few "UPDATES" have proved this to be the case.

That is the exact reason why the information needs to be as accurate as possible so that the casual reader returns because Carl etc. have credibility. I have been here since 2009 and I can honestly say that Carl's updates and info from Annis and others as been very accurate, yes 80% at least.

MM might be running a tight ship and info may be harder to come by but the fact is the thread you personally signposted us to was one where Annis said that the bid (£8m) had been accepted and personal terms agreed. He then said unless there was a dramatic U Turn Tom Ince would be a Cardiff player.

None of that was incorrect and the 'shit stirring' occurs when posters like you then start pointing the finger at Annis claiming his post was wrong because the player changed his mind (a dramatic u turn in anyone's book).

Good points: Great forum which has enabled me to make some more friends down the City & meet some great people.

It's a forum where mostly football is talked about. CCMB is a "clique" where I feel that you cannot fit in. Here, you are made more than welcome to the group.

Bad Points: Swansea trolls who post their swansea news on here like it's a Jack MB.

Also I feel the site loses credibility with the updates. Everyone has pretty much worked out now that nobody is truly ITK anymore and Updates are nothing more than guess work and well worded posts (ie posts that have 'escape' clauses in them).

This is in no disrespect to anyone, it's just that Malky and his recruitment team are very quiet and secretive - I prefer it this way.

I don't think you can whinge about being criticised when a lot of incorrect "facts" have been posted on here. Some claim for patience when it comes to transfers, yet the same people post about which signings were about to make, when every time this off season they've been proved wrong.

Cornelius signing has proved that nobody is ITK anymore & I advice those to stop posting in that manner.

I also feel that this forum has an agenda, which it tries to force on it's posters (Hammam last week as a prime example) when it should let the members decide for themselves.

I'm just pointing some inconsistencies in what Chuckles said about Annis' post the other day. It has nothing to do with 'brown nosing' as Annis and I disagree on many things most notably the rebrand.

However, when I see what is blatant 'shit stirring' I'm not going to follow the crowd and adopt gang mentality instead I'm going to say what I see.

As for being evil, anyone who dabbles in shit stirring is evil. I have seen its consequence and been a victim of it and it is without doubt the most abhorrent of all social behaviours.

You need to accept that people don't agree with you & stop calling them "shit-stirrers" & "evil" for doing so.

As it goes, I have no doubt that these posters were ITK before Malky Mackay came in, so therefore the stories you speak of would have even very accurate. Fact is though, that in the more recent times, the "UPDATES" have become far more inaccurate & sometimes totally wrong.

I'm just "saying what I see", like you said.. Or is that not allowed if it disagrees with your thoughts?!

If you want to enjoy the updates, please continue to enjoy them. For me though, it's a load of cleverly written guess work, which I and others can see through (going by the number of people who wrote "good post" after my original one) & they are something this forum could do without.
