I mean how good is the Bosnian premier league? Surley we would be better loaning players out to Scottish or championship clubs?
Not sure at all about this deal.

Well United have a similar partnership with Royal Antwerp, who are in the Belgian Second Division.
Said partnership helped the careers of Jonny Evans, John O'Shea, Darron Gibson, Ryan Shawcross, Tom Heaton, and even our very own Fraizer Campbell.
If the Belgian Second Division can help those players to become proven Premier League and Championship talent, I see no reason why the Bosnian Premier League couldn't. Plus, Sarjevo they play in the Europa League, which would be fantastic experience for upcoming City talent.

You get the rough on the news, though. We'll all have to learn Bosnian from now on.
I can barely speak English let alone learn a whole new language.

I think so
I'm guessing it may be a deal similar to that between Man Utd and Royal Antwerp...
Young Fraizer played for Antwerp on loan a while back, scoring 21 in 33. Perhaps some of our youngsters could head out to Sarajevo to play regular football?
What? Is Europa League experience no good for 18-21 year-old footballers looking for time on the pitch?

Your lot are a proper passionate bunch and I'm sure the atmosphere over there beats ours by a long shot!
At least we're linked with the most successful club in Bosnia and not settling for second best, who are your main rivals and what would you describe your derby like?

Hi lads,
Our derby (FK Sarajevo vs FK Zeljeznicar) is most of the time fierce at the stands, and calm in the city it self. Because in the same family can be fans of both rivals. Also fans of one team do not come from just one part of the city, like Boca and River Plate, or I supose in London. So we pretty much know each other, and usually there are no big organized fights between two sides. However, this is changing in the last year or so. Some fights have been organized between "first crew members". Traditionally, we joke and teese each other, and avoid seeing people if God forbid your team is the one who lost. For our group - Horde zla, much more intense is the game with NK Siroki Brijeg, in the sence of viollence, not football and prestige. That is because one of our guys has been killed in the riots that happend before away game in Siroki in year 2009. He has been shot dead by ex cop, who fleed to Croatia and never got penalty for his crime.
Our group has frendly relations with Ultras Dynamo from Dresden, Germany.
Usually we prefer what we like to call - Balkans style of supportnig. It is a unique mix between argentinian, italian, greek, turkish, and our own style.
Who are your biggest rivals, and what is that derby like?

That sounds incredible but sort of similar to ours. It shows you guys have an extreme passion for the game but at the time can laugh and joke with your rival fans. What's your thoughts on the violence then? Would you say despite being a team that has a large backing of ultra fans(usually over here if you are seen as an Ultra you are seen as violent)
Our biggest rival is Swansea, we are fourty miles away from them. Our derby this season will be the first since the birth of the Premier League which will be beamed onto the world stage. Some of our support reaches areas of Swansea which makes our fans laugh and joke when it comes to things. Our derby can get very heated, violence is hard to happen because of the police restrictions. The derby is brilliant though, you may have seen Glasgow Celtic vs Glasgow Rangers, I'd put it just behind that, it means a lot to us as us and Swansea are the two biggest teams in Wales

Well, I'd say that the crew isn't looking for trouble, but if it occures they won't run away from it. I say they, because there are two groups of fans. One are Horde zla, who are ultra, and they are on the north stand. And there are "Pitari" (roughly translated as pie-man) who are on the east stand, and mostly we are older guys who were Horde zla memebers in the past. Now not so much ultra, trying to make a mixture of waching the game and chanting. Not just going crazy all 90 minutes![]()
Violence can happen on the derby maches, but most probably on maches between clubs whose supporters nationalists. You see, in Bosnia there are still tensions on national basis, between serbs, croats and muslims. We see ourselvs as bosnians, and in our group there are all three nationalities. So if we play with teams who have ultra nationalist supporters, violence is most likely to occure. Mostly on away maches, because other groups don't come to Sarajevo in big numbers that often.
Other than that, sometimes, when playing european maches, Horde zla are looking for foreign supporters to "make contact". But is allways about punching, maybe throwing some stones, stealing scarfs or banners, but no useing knifes, as we are strongly against it. Lately there hasn't been some riots, since football federation has banned away supporters from going to maches, because some incidents happend. In last season ban has been removed, and no mayor incident has happend since.
The last big incident that took place in our stadion was two years ago, and it was against our clubs CEO, and members of directors board. Neadless to say, they resigned!

That proves a lot that passion is still there for your team, It's good to see that there is a balance between the two on ultras and normal fans but can still understand sometimes why violence comes into place. The atmosphere at Sarajevo created by the fans must be incredible. Is stealing scarfs/banners a thing then? I seem to remember a Russian side taking a Liverpool flag, turning it upside down and vandalising it. Would you be happy if Cardiff and Sarajevo made a fag? What would you say is your emblem is? Like for example we have a Bluebird which means a lot to us. Horde Zla looks incredible on how they make an atmosphere and the support is there for Sarajevo with 19,000 fans on Facebook
