All Im trying to do is promote debate. I honestly think managers like Schoolar,Burrows and Ashurst first time around were better at spotting and getting talent in. I know football moved on and im maybe living in the past but would have loved to have seen those managers around today.

Of course you can have a mind of your own but if that mind generates a lousy opinion then yes you will get called an idiot it goes with the territory.

BTW I really hate it when a poster plays the victim card.

How is this is a sticky?

The likes of Peter Whittingham was even moved by MMs passion and drive to do well for this club and stayed.

A lot of players have quoted that MM was a key reason.

Even Bellamy who if you read his book didn't get a long with a few managers is pushed by MMs desire and has his up most respect for him.

Malky is in a tough boat. It is not easy to attract players when your new to the BPL. He has been very ambitious and he has gave it a good crack.. he has even pushed Wanyama and Ince to coming but for reasons being on their side of the bridge they didn't join.

MM is good manager and young.. still learning but he is young manager with a lot of potential.

I'm wondering myself! Exactly, Whitts was going to go ASAP but Malky told him he would be crucial to his plans and he stayed! And for example if it wasn't for Malky, Bellamy probably wouldn't have come back in all honesty, that's the brutal honesty, he'd have probably retired or got one last Premiership pay-day. Malky has installed a brilliant work ethic into a team that he only inherited not long ago. I feel for Malky because he's grown to love this club, it's not just a job to him

He is a manager who takes a lot of pride in any club and has a lot of respect and speaks highly of the fans.

But no because he can't get players in that are highly rated(baring in mind Cornelius is) he's a poor manager and we should sack him now. Malky is a brilliant manager and I for one am proud to have someone like him to lead us out in the Premier League

I think the Ince deal being ended as showed that MM is the one really working hard and pulling the strings but being let down by the other club or player.

Jesus Christ I've seen some junk on this message board but anyone suggesting Malky Makay has been anything but positive for this club is off their head!

Why should we of expected to go up!? On paper wolves had a better squad on day 1 of last season and Blackburn signed a striker for 8m not far off our spend for all our signings combined!

Some of you are clueless beyond belief!

We are a promoted side who have never been in this league before and not in the top league for what 51 years?! Who are you expecting to come out of the hat???? Check your ambitions we are favourites to go down the fact we have attracted one of the hottest prospects in Europe is already a massive achievement!

Malky doesn't have a plan b? I can't recall us coming back to win many matches under DJ but under malky we've come back plenty of times after being behind!

I Bleed Blue wrote:Of course he can, why wouldn't you be a Malky man? He's been the best thing to ever happen to us, the transformation this club has had from the DJ erta to him is something of a different wavelength. We are incredibly more professional than we were back then.

Ince's attitude got the better of him, he will stay at Blackpool for the time being with his child but whose to say he won't move.

Malky will be hurt but there's plenty more fish in the sea

Agree about Malky. But Ince could live to regret this. If he has a bad start to the season, stuck in a poor team, with his performances not looking good (U21 competition as an example) then he could disappear into a mediocre player.

Personally glad he did not sign, as much better available for that amount of money.
