Underwhelmed by the whole business. Pretty obvious that Ince, and his old man, think that he is too good for us. Fair enough, but why are we putting up with this stalling? Time to walk away, Malky. He's messed us about long enough.

Cardiff and Blackpool have agreed an £8m fee, rising to £8.5m, but Ince is still weighing up whether to commit his future to the Welsh club.

Ince travelled with his father, Paul, who is manager at Blackpool, to Cardiff on Monday to discuss the proposed move and get a feel for the club and the city. Cardiff felt that the talks were positive and had hoped that the England Under-21 international would agree to sign.

Ince, however, informed Cardiff on Wednesday that he has still not made up his mind. There is no indication that any other club are prepared to match Cardiff's offer for a player who will be out of contract in 12 months' time, meaning that Ince is likely to spend another season in the Championship with Blackpool if he turns down the chance to move to the Welsh capital.

He is taking the piss. If he is afraid of the prem let him stay where he is and start signing some players. We aint got long to bed em in as it is.

Malky said its down to domestic issues, personal terms have been agreed. When asked if he thought he'd sign he replied "He was impressed with the facilities and kept asking questions as to how he'd be played and the clubs ambition etc

In other words, Ince wants a guarantee that he will start every week. Nobody can be promised that. We have already got strikers at the club, so if Ince was not getting goals, or playing well, he could be dropped. That's football. The others would step up. As for 'ambition', who does little Ince think he is? Perhaps Malky should tell him, 'we're not that ambitious, otherwise we would not be trying to sign you'! Just to bring him down to earth a bit. Perhaps we should put in a bid for Ince senior as well, so that he can monitor if we are good enough for junior.

I'm sure we wouldn't have, Malky is very good at this transfer business, i'm sure he has plenty of options on the go

Remember, we didn't have a clue about Cornelius!

Tom Ince to decide on Cardiff City move on Friday, says Mackay

Cardiff City manager Malky Mackay says the club will know on Friday whether Blackpool winger Tom Ince will join the club.
Blackpool have already accepted the Bluebirds' £8m offer for the England Under-21 player.
The two clubs agreed the deal two weeks ago and Ince was in Cardiff on Monday for talks with the newly promoted club.
"On Friday morning we will know one way or the other," said Mackay, preparing for the club's Premier League debut.
Ince's boss and father Paul Ince had said Tom will only leave for a club where he would play regularly.
