Patience Please :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Weve waited 51 years for top flight football and surely we have got patience when it comes to signings.

Malky will get them and he really is in talks with not just one player, but up to 5 players.

I will stick my neck on the block now and say by this time next week, there will be " 3 MAJOR SIGNING " :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Medicals are booked for at least Ince, watch out City fans by this time next week, you will talking about Malky's signings :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Ill hold you to this Mate!!

My opinion on this site is one of freedom of speech, but all fans need to know we are still Cardiff City. We moan about some of the transfer decisions by Malky and to be honest, his decisions in the transfer market have never been questioned. People say that Velikonja was a waste of money, I think very much like Malky did with Kimbo, he was being patient and waiting until he is ready, Ettien may just need more time, but Kimbo is without a doubt absolute quality and will prove to be one of the best young players in the Premier League this season.

With all these major names being linked and the singing of Cornelius really excites me regardless of what Paul Abbandonato says, this kid is one of the most exciting young prospects in European football and was link to some of the biggest names in the game!! why would he join little old Cardiff City, well Ill tell you.

The financial backing of this club regardless of the re-branding and thoughts of the red/blue, is fantastic. We should all grab this chance with two hands and enjoy these times, remember this is about the clubs survival and not just about colour of choice. Like all fans, id love to be in blue regardless of what anyone says about me, but im sorry to say that Tans money comes at a price, its not one any of us want and that includes me, but this club will eventually be debt free, own a world class stadium facility, a world class training academy at UEFA 'A' licence level, and also a squad of players to be proud of. We are potentially one of the soundest clubs in the country at the moment. Its sad to see but look at Coventry? Rangers, Portsmouth and Darlington the list will get bigger this year I have no doubt.

The science and methodology in the backroom of our club is sheer brilliant, and Malky is a huge part of all this. What Malky,Kerslake,Terroso, Collinge and McBride and all the backroom staff do, is modern football at its absolute best.

Regardless of what people say about the agents and clubs not playing ball but Malky is brilliant at seeing talent and encouraging them to join our wonderful club, and I feel that Ince and a few brilliant youngsters People need to understand, Malky is heading for the top, and we are lucky he is here to develop this club, at the stage we are at. I don't care what anyone says, his voice, his sheer enthusiasm for what he does, and the love he has for Cardiff City is truly inspiring, he breeds motivation and confidence, and its hard once he has spoken to a player, for them to refuse or turn us down.

People take what I say on twitter as total negativity, im a so called 'kiss ass' of Steve Borley, however its totally not true. I love CCFC like all fans do and im very patriotic and passionate about this club and everything in my life. Steve has put masses of his own hard earned money into this club, and people dive on him as if he also aint got an opinion on things, surely like all CCFC fans he is allowed. Joanne, Steve's daughter runs the House of Sport and is doing a fantastic job for CCFC not only for the club but also the community. Schools, colleges and sports clubs around Wales are using this facility and people batter him with insults and the like about what he can and cannot say on twitter or on AAMB.

He may say things that upsets the so called BU followers, but like myself and many other fans, things get heated because passion overrides what we say and do, but you have to remember he was there when nobody else was, he paid the taxman on more than one occasion. Lets not forget this club is bigger than any fan, bigger than any owner, and bigger than any other club in this planet as far as im concerned, we are Cardiff City Football Club.

Lets embrace the premier League and enjoy it like you'd never believe.

:malky: :malky:

The most true and sensible post I have ever seen on this forum, BU take note, quality :ayatollah:

Welcome on board and were in the Premier League :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Cheers my man, nice to finally jump on board. Got a nice ring to it aye Premier league, let the good times roll, I trust the job malky is doing he's been our best signing in a long long time, just my opinion of course.

IBleedBlue is being ridiculous to be fair. 1st season here Malky took his time and everyone was panicking, last season Malky took his time and less people were panicking, because by then we had an idea how he likes to work. Now? yet again people are stamping their feet like children "i want players and i want them NOW!" Malky says he will get 5 or 6 players in. So far we have one and he is an exciting talent... nobody saw it coming. Malky is good at this, and getting better ;)

Some people really need to chill.

Do we need reminding that the transfer window has been open just six days? That's less than a week for those without the patience to work it out.

As long as we are signing players under contract, it means that selling clubs were under absolutely no obligation to reply to any enquiries for players until July 1st. If we take into consideration that an enquiry comes in for a player at the start of business on July 1st, having no reply until later that day or the next day seems normal, then allowing the player to think about it etc. it seems to me that signing players next week represents pretty swift business when taking this into consideration. Factor in that many UK clubs only went back to work on the 3rd and you get the picture.

Those about to tell me that Cornelius signed earlier etc. should read into the fact that Scandinavian leagues are in business during the summer (even if they play in the more traditional winter calender) and signing players from outside the UK but inside the EU carries slightly different rules on when you are allowed to table an offer. Officially in many leagues (including English & scottish) you can not table a formal offer until July 1st.

Transfer speculation, rumour and 'in the know' chat that happens before July 1st should always be taken as paper talk. Think about it, they have to sell papers and get web hits via football when there is no football, how do they do it? Speculate!

If Forever Blue is right, and I see no reason to doubt it, then 3 signings next week plus Cornelius last week is very very swift business and allows for a good pre season as a group.

Patience fellow Bluebirds...

If enough of the so called forum leaders keep saying we will have made signings at the end of a week, at some point they will be rite, but any forum member on here could say the same. We all got a good idea that Malky will sign players but as with our first big signing there were not many in the know, and that is the way it should be :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

There is no forum leader, were all just fans, some know a little bit more than others, if it upsets you, that's up to you.

I just believe by all the activity down the City last week, they are preparing for a few signings later this coming week, I've always said I believe Ince will come.

By this point in their first season. Swansea had:

Caulker (Loan)
Graham

and that's it, many of Swansea's signings cam in early and the end of August.

Now there are differences between them and us. Swansea were promoted on 30th May Cardiff were promoted April 16th (Although really after April 13th it was done). Cardiff have a reported bigger budget and more household names (Bellamy, Campbell, Whittingham, over probably just Sinclair)

It's annoying we haven't been able to press home the advantage of more money and more time but ultimatley it's still early in the window.

Malky sure is.

But I can tell you this 100% Malky had a list and nearly all the players he wanted and thought he was going to get he never and Rem I said this that it will come out in the papers how hard it was to bring players to our club, a newly promoted Premier League, that most think will go straight back down.
It's not about who is ITK, the truth is, Malky sadly is struggling big time to get quality players to join us.
But I have not given up yet :D

Well if I've got it wrong by the end of today, how do you think Malky will feel?
But I will say it again, Malky himself believed he would have the players he wanted by now.

Aye, some players are at different stages though, some are close and some aren't
