It did but I think the point that the OP is making is that it is hypocrisy to complain about the cost of British players when you put a ridiculous price on one of your own British players. Ince is much better than Allen and will cost half the price (whoever buys him) so HJ is a hypocrite IMO.

I recently took over a pub, the previous tenants left and also left a pile of unpaid debts. I regularly get the bailiffs in looking for them.

Now, I've taken over a struggling business from scratch and in no way do I feel liable for the previous tenants debts, or should I?

If the debts are in the clubs name then yes.

If I took on the previous debts at this pub, I would be out of business within a month, my point is, it's not my fault that the previous owners got themselves into trouble, why should I be burdened with something that had nothing to do with me? It's a similar situation to the one that the Swans board found themselves in when they took over? Albeit on a much smaller scale.

As to the point of the thread, I'm not sure what he's on about when he says Ince is overpriced and then he stumps up £6m for Shelvey? No idea whatsoever? Unless there is a big difference in wages, but I would imagine Shelvey will be taking home a decent wedge.

Are you real the big difference is Shelvey has already played over 70 games in the pl and ince has not played one as far as i know.

they can't plain and simple they slate the guy but he took us from basement and on our arses to 9th in the premier league and european competition in 10yrs , improving every single season and turning a profit while still being a swansea supporter and putting swansea city and therefore it's fans first
