CCFC Reunited - Your Club, Your Crest

Just to re-itterate that we are being serious with this project, we're not trying to stir things up or piss people off, we want to do something positive that can help reunite fans in their support of Cardiff City (we heard lots of people saying one of the worst things about the rebrand is how it's split the fanbase) and get a crest that represents the club better... and looks better!

So let us know what elements you would like to see on CCFC’s new crest? Dragon, bluebird, ‘Cardiff City’, ‘est. 1899’, ‘fire and passion’, daffodil, red, blue, other colour etc.?

Weren't we led to believe at the beginning of last season that TAN was prepared to work with the fans over the design of our club crest due to the uproar caused when he changed it?
I havn't heard any mention of this since and that does piss me off.
The Fire and Passion badge that was made on here was by far better than anything ive seen proposed since and I'd go as far as to say that I prefer it to any crest weve had.
This would have been the perfect opportunity for VT to gain respect from quarters that he hasnt got any respect from as yet.
I think the dragon and the Bluebird along with Fire and Passion were a great advert not only for Cardiff City but also for our Welshness. Fire from the Dragon and Passion from the Bluebird.
I know it was a favourite for most people on this forum but it never materialised and it's such a shame.

We saw that crest too and liked the idea behind it! We also also thought the idea of fire and passion linking to red and blue was good. We're aware that fans were promised a say last summer but it never happened leaving everyone understandably pissed off! That whole thing is one reason why we thought people would relish this opportunity to have their say finally! We want to make a crest for the fans, by the fans, then present it to the board with a lots of weight behind it, both professional and community-based!

The club dont even listen or answer such questions to the TRUST who are within the club already so to speak what fecking hope has this got, another mad idea IMO that will filter out before its started, but good luck

Regarding the charity I was only quoting from another poster, but of course you know that don't you.

It seems that if you question BU your only answer is to call that drivel.

We want to stress that this isn't a joke, it's a serious project! We've got a branding agency starting on the designs next week so we really need some feedback on what fans want the new logo to be like

FYI, We're not related to BU, we are our own project with a slightly different objective. Our aim is create a logo influenced by fans, designed for fans and chosen by fans. We hope that this new crest - respecting CCFC's heritage and history as well as their exciting future - can be embraced by all CCFC fans and reunite a fan base split by differing opinions on the rebrand. With a new crest that's more representative of fans and looks more professional, we hope this whole rebrand issue can soon be put to rest and fans can reunite as a passionate force behind their team, to support CCFC through the preimer league!

Cardiff Fans!

After the disruption of Cardiff City’s recent rebrand, CCFC Reunited wants to help regain the Bluebirds’ identity and reunite fans, ready for Cardiff’s exciting new chapter on the Premier League stage!

We want to create a crest, influenced and chosen by fans, that we can present to the club board. We hope it'll be taken up in the near future, so the club has a new crest – a crest of choice - that respects City’s heritage and paves the way for an exciting new future as a Premier League team! We want to help get fans’ voices heard and represented.

The Plan:
Fans, say what you think and want in a new crest.
We come up with some designs that represent the club and what fans want... and that doesn’t look like a cheap beer mat badge!
You tell us what you think, we tweak the designs if we need to then see which design you like best.
We lobby this new fans’ choice crest to the board and try to get a club crest taken on that you can embrace and be proud of!
