De Guizman is good business to have him on loan another season, this frees up a sizeable sum for another player. 8 million euros his parent club wanted for him. If he has another good season then his contract is not far off up at his parent club which we could then get him a bit cheaper.

We won't go in for Ince, It's Bony and the Belgian winger Nacer Chadli which could be our 2 next buys which should come to around 18 million total. Then I guess we'll want another striker (Michy Batshusyi) which is another couple of million.

Bony is very keen to come here and things are happening between him and Swansea.

Pleased with our business so far, good to see it getting done early. Canas, Amat and Pozeulo are very good players.

But hey - it's crazy to see that Swans and Cardiff are haggling with clubs with serious money in the millions rather than scouting a journeyman player who is available for 60k with add ons like 20 years ago! :laughing6:

Nacer Chadli would be a hell of a signing for you if it came off to be fair and Bony

Nacer has been linked with us and a few Russian clubs. 14 Belgian caps - would love to see him here. Swans are in Holland this week so maybe a good chance to talk to him and wrap up the Bony deal.

Swansea City agree £6m fee for Liverpool's Jonjo Shelvey
• 21-year-old likely to leave Anfield in search of first-team football
• Swansea beat Crystal Palace, West Ham and Norwich to midfielder

Swansea City have agreed a £6m fee with Liverpool for the England midfielder Jonjo Shelvey and will discuss personal terms with the player in anticipation of concluding a deal before the weekend.

The 21-year-old, a £1.7m signing from Charlton three years ago, has been limited to a peripheral role at Anfield and had been told by Brendan Rodgers that his situation may not improve and he can leave in search of regular first-team football.

Liverpool fielded interest from newly-promoted Crystal Palace, together with West Ham and Norwich, but Swansea's bid was deemed acceptable.

Shelvey, who made his senior England debut in November's defeat in Sweden, only made 17 Premier League starts over his time at Anfield but is expected to seize the chance to move to the Welsh club, with the added incentive of Europa League football, to kickstart his top-flight career.

Swansea announced three signings on Tuesday, most notably the midfielder Alejandro Pozuelo from Real Betis for an undisclosed fee. The 21-year-old, who made 11 senior appearances for Betis last season, becomes Swansea's seventh Spanish player.

The 17-year-old goalkeeper Gregor Zabret and 19-year-old midfielder Alex Gogic also joined on Tuesday from the Slovenian side NK Domzale and the Greek club Olympiakos respectively.

Players and staff in Holland this week, a fee has been agreed so just a few things to iron out. He has been quoted as saying he wants to come here, his agent has confirmed the this as well.
West Ham have pulled out, they were rebuffed when they revealed how they wanted to finance the deal (installments here and there).

He'll be on far better wages at Swansea than what he was getting in Holland.

£6m? They are welcome to him.

Not the most popular choice i must admit, but away from the pressures of Anfield who knows what he can do? 6million is still quite cheap for a british player who has played at the top level. Plus it helps with the 'home grown' thing we've all got got to stick to now.

This has made my morning if true!

Hes had ample opportunity to prove he can make it in the Premiership. He will do ''a job'' for the Pond Life but at £6m? f**k me
you want someone who can run the show. Shelvey is worth £3m tops. Ince at £8m (if we get him) will be an absolute steal. compared to this ugly looking alien c**t
