I watched West Ham v Spurs at Upton Park twice in the late '80s and saw Chelsea v Arsenal at Stamford Bridge in 1995.

Ive read and seen clips on Youtube of FC United getting into some bother a number of times. Them and Chester.

Annis, people think that because City and United is now the glamour tie of English football that all the fans are plastics and the rivalry is not there. The truth is the City is deeply divided and a lot of hatred exists between the two. I have three manc mates all reds, hate city as much as we hate the Jacks.

Only other derby I've been to is Forest vs Leicester - I went up on the Leicester train and the police ( about 3 of them ) kept us in the station - well we waited patiently and it was clear we were going to miss kick off but the police wouldn't listen to people protesting - so I just ran around them with my mates, looked back after 25 m to see the whole of the train following us - must be the most polite fans in the world - can you imagine Cardiff being held back like that ?
Anyway pretty dull all round and they must have had about 5,000 there as it was a quarter final.

linfield and glentorran at winsor park belfast...........small crowd but very intence 
two linfield supporters had a scrap in the bar after the game and nobody even acknoledged it was going on...crazy place.

Ranger vs Celtic new years day 1987 - at Ibrox. no one goes to bed the night before as its new years eve, drinking all night, good breakfast and off to the game for a 11am kick off - what an atmosphere!!!

Done Man Utd v Liverpool in 80s and Man City v Utd in early 90s. Not as nasty as Cardiff v Jacks in those days for intensity because thousands of normal fans would be there too. Cardiff v Jacks was 50% head cases!
Done Stoke v Port Vale too but that wasn't too bad.

City V United - Really hate each other.
Chelsea V West Ham 1980's - West Ham really took the piss that day. Shed was full of Happy Hammers.
Hartlepool V Darlington early 2000 something - Hartlepool had a huge mob out for a small club.
Newcastle V Sunderland 1990'S - Sunderland went 2 nil up and thousands of Geordies invaded the pitch to try and get the game stopped
Celtic V Rangers early 2000's - Hate fest but fans don't get near each other
Dundee v Dundee Utd - Last season. Pretty tame.
Hearts V Hibs - late 90's. Lots of Hibs lads going about but never saw much from Hearts. Think it's more even now.
Falkirk V Dunfermline- Been to a few of these.Really hate each other. Poisonous atmosphere and seen pubs trashed and lots of fighting over the years. Police seem to have it under control now

Saints v Pompey which was disappointing.
United v citeh was great.
Hearts v Celtic was one of best atmospheres I've been in.

As Wolves have always been my second team ,I been to the Wolves V W B A , and my god that is a hell of a match
