Not at all but even the amount of whom signed the petition are a minority. The petition is currently under 6000 signatures. Lets give them the benefit of the doubt here and ignore the fact that some fans of other clubs signed the petition.
Next season we will probably sell out. 25,000 fans + more often than not.
6,000 of 25k is 24%. Good going as Tan quoted 25%.
Problem is, there are plenty of fans who on any given match day fixture dont get in to the game or cant get a ticket. Our fan base increasing now due to our newfound PL status. For the sake of numbers and ease we'll put BU's support at around 15-20% of our overall fan base. Fair enough, still a minority to anyone who understands numbers/percentages.

Not far of the 25% then. Not bad for a group that has just started.

They clasp at straws with nonsense about being in a strong position now CCFC are in the Premiership and that thousands have turned against VT since scarf gate.
If they ventured outside their little bubbles they would understand that whilst VT is stabilising the club and bringing outside investment into CCS he has the vast majority of fans on his side.
Then there is the petition which was signed by many fans including me in good faith which was then used as an excuse to hold a protest march at a high profile game next season. I didn't sign up for that and frankly I feel deceived by BU.
We all want a return to blue but not at the expense of putting the club in jeopardy. That is why the feeling towards BU is one of dislike and yes hate in some quarters. If only they waited for a better opportune time in the future they would have much more support and would enhance their chances of success.
ATM every time they put something out it is just another chapter in their long running suicide note. This article is no different.

I thought the whole point of the piece was to explain why BU is important but he doesn't make the case for how or why it is important. That important aspect seemed to come as an after thought 6 lines from ther end.
I respect TOBW and will read his views simply due to his pedigree as an avid city supporter but the bit about him having no attatchment to our historical colour blue due to the make up of his brain was a bit inventive and quite funny. Wasn't expecting that.

Makes you laugh doesn't it. The rebrand is bad enough but the way it is handled says that he and the club hierachy have little respect for us.
What makes me laugh, When ardent Tan fans criticise BU under the guise of 'normal' fan or mainstream reasonable view. It's clear for all to see what they're about in post history.

Most fans don't care enough about the rebrand to be insulted by it.

Pretty sure the main reason for the rebrand was not to insult people.
no, but it did.
In other words, 'Tan insults MINORITY by saving club from potential closure and investing £100m which leads to club's promotion to Premier League'
invests 100 million? That's wrong for a start.
Easy to make comments like that, see.
yes, I could make up comment too. Easy.
Furthermore, VT offered to scrap the rebrand due to initial fan opposition, only to reinstate it after MANY fans asked him to reconsider.
Do you honestly think it was ever canned? I don't... Kits would have already been put into production & the football league would already have been notified. It would have been too late to change it all back to the old badge and colours.
