why would we need parachute payments to stop us going bust?![]()
we spend 55% of income on wages with a relegation clause written into every players contract with a minimum release clause activated and a pay cut.
Haven't you committed to expanding the Liberty? Plus I wouldn't read too much into that 55% bollocks Laudrups threat to go has seen to that.

what happens if we spend big? (answer) if we spend big on quality players we will have every chance of securing our premiership status for next season. This will guarantee us a further 80 million in tb money. If we fail to buy the necessary players to keep us in the division we could go another 4 - 5 years struggling to return to the top flight. So therefore I feel it is right for city to be aggressive in the transfer market. Speculate to accumulate is the way forward and by keeping our premiership status our current crop of championship winning players will see their values sore.

Its not bollcks at all, its how we work its how we have always worked and how we will continue to work. Laudrup means naff all to this club, hes off in 12 months anyway. There were a lot of fans, me included who wanted shot of him so we can move on earlier. there is no way huw will spend a penny more than our structure allows us to,
And no we haven't commited to expanding the Liberty.

You have got lucky for the past 4/5 years and its time that was put right

If we also stay up great, however if we go down as long as the debt is shot of I will be happy. CCFC has been milked by crooks like Ridsdale for long enough, we need to get our house in order.

if it was TAN FC then id take your point, hes a rich man... however its Cardiff City FC and the fact you are spending everything you have plus Tans loans should be screaming 'danger' to you. he can afford it, your club cant clearly hence why they need Tans loans.
Whether Jenkins was a builders merchant or a oil tycoon matters little, we spend what WE make and nothing more.

Swansea remind me so much of Reading when they first went up to the PL. Cruised the first 2 seasons even though they were favourites to go down, thought they were established made plans to expand their stadium and got relegated in the third season.

So what happens with the 140 million we have just secured for winning the Championship ????????????????????????????????????.some might say now that we can afford and need to bring in decent players as we are now in a financial position that is exactly what we should do unless you want us to end up like Derby,Blackpool,Hull .
