Exactly what I think, they had to reply on an Instagram post off Matthew Killgallon for Campbell etc, Sky brought the stories over Maynard and Campbell, hope this is the case again!

Carl doesn't usually release such information until its signed, sealed, delivered. So why now, at such a sensitive time....or is it a formality? Not moaning, I like knowing how thing are developing but if we are able to put out this information and even the fee amount, then that can only help any serious competition for his signature. Or am I wrong?

Malky does not need to be in the country. Video links, mobile call etc... Its a modern world. He hired a team that know what they're doing...they just email the dossiers.

So what happens if a rival club bid for him? Gazza choosing Spurs over Man Utd springs to mind as the manager was there to greet him and give the personal touch while Fergie was on holiday. Whatever way you look at it, this trip to Malaysia at a crucial point of our pre season is absolutely ridiculous!

Also, a more recent example would be Ramsey choosing Arsenal because Wenger was there to greet him, give the personal touch and make him feel wanted. Ferguson was away and got Gary Neville to show him around instead. This needless trip to Malaysia is a huge, unnecessary risk!
