Dont know why, but I never thought he'd want to come to us. Dont know why, just did...so always wrote him off even with the strong media speculation. I will be happy to see this signing go through, he will undoubtedly make an impact for us in the top flight...maybe not a massive impact that some may expect but he will grow into one of England top young talents with us and with that, a huge sell on fee. Malky's ethos from the off was always to buy young talent and sell for a pretty sum. Win/win.

Not moaning, I like knowing how thing are developing but if we are able to put out this information and even the fee amount, then that can only help any serious competition for his signature. I do think there is a bigger point to Malky's visit, maybe a crisis meeting to say "vincent, unless you give me a 50 million quid budget we jut cant compete, cos no one of decent premiership pedigree wants to come to 'on paper', relegation fodder."
