I'm not sure the club would be happy seeing this information on this MSG board.

Dont know why, but I never thought he'd want to come to us. Dont know why, just did...so always wrote him off even with the strong media speculation. I will be happy to see this signing go through, he will undoubtedly make an impact for us in the top flight...maybe not a massive impact that some may expect but he will grow into one of England top young talents with us and with that, a huge sell on fee. Malky's ethos from the off was always to buy young talent and sell for a pretty sum. Win/win.

Exactly what I think, they had to reply on an Instagram post off Matthew Killgallon for Campbell etc, Sky brought the stories over Maynard and Campbell, hope this is the case again!

I think it is mate. Everything is pointing towards the deal being done all bar the shouting.

Great news but it's a shame Malky is under pressure to get this done before he goes on an unneccessary, needless trip to Malaysia. What's more important?

I honestly believe we could have a better deal than Zaha's United move here. :D

I think you're right there. No way Zaha is two and a half times better than Ince.

Carl doesn't usually release such information until its signed, sealed, delivered. So why now, at such a sensitive time....or is it a formality? Not moaning, I like knowing how thing are developing but if we are able to put out this information and even the fee amount, then that can only help any serious competition for his signature. Or am I wrong?

Malky does not need to be in the country. Video links, mobile call etc... Its a modern world. He hired a team that know what they're doing...they just email the dossiers.

Another overhyped young english starlet. Played awful for england under 21 team this summer and got subbed at half time against mighty Israel under 21s at half time after stinking the place out.

Good scoring record at championship level, but does take penalties. Massive gamble and if we pay blackpool the reported 8 mil for a player with no 1st class football experience we're off our rocker.

Hope im wrong.

So what happens if a rival club bid for him? Gazza choosing Spurs over Man Utd springs to mind as the manager was there to greet him and give the personal touch while Fergie was on holiday. Whatever way you look at it, this trip to Malaysia at a crucial point of our pre season is absolutely ridiculous!

Also, a more recent example would be Ramsey choosing Arsenal because Wenger was there to greet him, give the personal touch and make him feel wanted. Ferguson was away and got Gary Neville to show him around instead. This needless trip to Malaysia is a huge, unnecessary risk!

I do think there is a bigger point to Malky's visit, maybe a crisis meeting to say "vincent, unless you give me a 50 million quid budget we jut cant compete, cos no one of decent premiership pedigree wants to come to 'on paper', relegation fodder."

if ince comes here its down to malky. Paul Ince will be pretty damned sure that were his lad goes hes going to progress as a footballer. lets be fair Ince Snr may have been a big time charlie off the pitch but on it he was a determined winner and thats
Malkys ethos all over despite wat that angelis49 says haha

Doubt Malky wouldn't meet with Ince when he sets off on Thursday. He'll be a record signing. FFS
