Thats like saying all british lads dress in alexanda mcqueen because he's british. I''ve not travelled for football much but Trust me the italian FOOTBALL mob i saw in Cardiff were fully paid up, 1970's nazi skinheads, Only our skin heads were better dressed.

Did you stand by the turnstile and watch every single one of them walk in

Thats like someone saying the seen a load of Valley Commandos in their double denim up at Chelsea and saying all Cardiff dress like Shakin Stevens [/quote]

Put it this way, If The valley comandos starting mobing up for Wales games in their cowboy boots with no evidence of another dressing culture, they'd be our representatives. That's what happened in Cardiff, don't get me wrong the average italian was well turned out, but not in terms of a dressing culture for the match . Although i was told that only a few right- wing clubs follow the national side, lazio and a few others. not sure if this is true or not.

Enjoy

Around 86/87 the paninaro definitely influenced a lot of the look on the British terraces. Ciao, Ball, Best Company, Fiorucci and Classic Nouveau were just a handful of the labels enjoyed here and in Italy at the time. Stone Island and CP was creeping in, but as a mass look it wasn't until I saw Arsenal in 1989 that it took London by storm

The Milan derby you mention was very special. I've been to most of the big derbies in the UK but that was different gravy
