They'll never lean.
If a bigger/better job comes up then he'll be off like a shot, same goes for Malky. They are seen as a stepping stone, especially with the budget constriants.
They just seem to get quite emotionally attached to their mangers down west then act like jilted lovers when the inevitable happens.
I'd like to think that should Malky leave we would show him the respect that he has earned and wish him well.

A good honest post, but if you go back to when Laudrup signed for you, many of the sensible posters on here (not the wind up merchants) questioned his "staying power" due to his history of jumping ship.
I wanted Bergkamp so when Laudrup was un-veiled it was a 'meh' moment for me, personally. That soon changed when we slaughtered QPR 5-0 first game though.Since we've won the cup and as you're all aware, our league form as been pretty poor and without the influx of millions and millions, I feel that Laudrup thinks he's taken us as far as he can.The thing with football fans is we're all fickle as hell and im sure wherever he decides to go next, those clubs fans will not care too much on his past and his in-ability to stick around. He's in a fortunate enough position where his name goes before him and most clubs and it's fans are in awe of the man. That's wearing thin in Swansea atm.

Laudrup has said himself he wont be around that long not just with swansea but in football full stop, let me tell you what i think will happen, he'll have one more season at swansea, then go back to spain or denmark and call it a day by the time he's 53 or 54.

Ur are you on drugs, you talk about his past and you fail to mention he was at bronby for 4 yrs, you wanted begrkamp and what do you base that on apart he was a very good player and our league form has been poor since we won at wembley you say, well we finished 9th, metaphorically speaking we may of lost some battle's but we won the war. For the life of me i cannot understand swans fans criticzing Laudrup when he has never said he wants to leave, some swans fans forget where we were 10yrs ago.

Take your head out of the sand ffs. It's the fact i've been around for 10 yrs,30 yrs, actually that i come to the conclusion he's off. Can't you see what's happening here? Are you that naive to what's happening again at our club? Martinez,Sousa and Rodgers before all left due to the tight purse strings at our club.I wouldn't have it any other way either because like I've said,i was around when we were in the doldrums.
We've a rigid financial structure in place,a manager takes the job, furthers us and then thinks we need hefty investment in the team to take us to the next level. It's now happening with Laudrup and just like the others he will and can feck off.
Haven't you learned anything from what's happened in the past at our club,or are you one of those fans who are in denial every time we go through this?

Now laudrup has said he is staying at swansea and thats good enough for me, from what i know of him bullshi*ting is not one of his trademarks, and will you lose your password if he's stays.
