i for one am anti-red but dont have a real problem with 'malaysia' on the shirt providing it brings revinue in. even if it just puts money in tans pocket it benefits us by default. but the tackyness and disrigard for the people who will be buying Cardiff City
merchendise proves to me that tan has done his sums he has around £10m in the bank from Season ticket sales and with the best will in the world he dont expect to make more than around £1m from shirts/merchandising so hes not arsed what goes in the shop. this is aimed at the peopl buying the red merchendise by the way. the stuff in that shop is shocking quality and desin. hes had your season ticket money. he got his mandate to do as he pleases and it definately dont please him to makle an effort for the fans. why bother? its the premier league money hes focused on

A while ago, Tan explained why he decided to put 'Malaysia' as shirt sponser out of his own pocket.

I don't want to go into the whole issue about his 'plan' or exchange comments about us becoming Malaysia FC bla bla bla but he spoke about generating interest and getting the Malaysian Government to eventually become involved and pay for the sponsorship. They would alter the sponser to 'Visit Malaysia'.

It would appear that this has now come to fruition. I believe that next seasons shirts will have 'Visit Malaysia' on them.

Whether we are receiving a fee is unknown and I suppose we won't know until the accounts are published for this financial year.

Shirt sponsorship in the premier league is big bucks so I can't imagine any businessman not taking advantage of this opportunity to generate, potentially, a few million pounds. I would be disappointed if it turns out that we have banked a grand total of f**k all for it.

VT's ultimate goal in Malaysia is a betting licence to run online gambling for all non-Muslim's in that country.

The UMNO party have been successfully returned to power at the recent General Elections but with a decreased over all majority. It appears the sizable Chinese ethnic minority (25%) have deserted the party in droves and they need to reach out to them.

Oddly giving the Chinese a legal way to bet is one of those ways.

So it wouldn't surprise me at all if VT has financed the 'Visit Malaysia' shirt sponsorship just so he gets his beloved licence in the not too distant future.

Smacks of good 'business sense' whichever way it is dressed up and that can only be good for Cardiff City FC

I simply pointed out what I realised some time ago; that you are entrenched in your position and are unable to see the facts of the position we are in compared to a couple of seasons ago

Why? The photo on the website is clearly photoshopped, I wasn't saying that it wasn't going to be put on our shirt, why else would the club photoshop "visit" onto the photo?
