cakey, that is a stupid statement. BU dont want Tan Out, therefore they wont bring blue back. All they are are slightly more vocal reluctant reds. If Tan said tomorrow 'im leaving, good luck on your own sorting the financial mess' half of them would shit themselves and beg for Tan to stay.

Maybe tan out is a bit extreme but that's what it might look like to tan. If a full return to blue is what they want then that's dictating to tan in my eyes, a compromise is fair enough but he puts the money in so they should respect his beliefs aswell

What have Portsmouth done exactly.

Yes they have a club to support but where is the money coming from. They are being run by a supporters trust I don't think any club being run the way they are will ever get to or near the premiership ever.

What do you want from CCFC a club that's successful or a club to support playing in blue in the lower leagues in front of less then 10,000 fans.

Yet another "pro red" that only cares for PL football...

Stupid statement. Portsmouth now have the Trust owning the club. The club can slowly build and work its way up the leagues and with that it becomes more valuable. They can sell a large share in the club as the German clubs do whilst still maintaining the majority stake in the club. Portsmouth are in a position to implement their own 50+1 rule.

Also, the PL is not the be all and end all of football. If we could easily survive without Tan and not go into administration I'd support a Tan Out campaign easily. The problem I and many have is that if the club became a phoenix club it would not be the same club. The less the risk of admin, the more I want Tan Out. Its as simple as that.

I couldn't give a crap about Tan as a person. He doesn't give a crap about us either. Hes made that very clear multiple times. However I will for the clubs interests set my personal interests aside and let Tan do it his way so we can take his money and benefit from it short term. Long term I know we'll be back to blue so the thought of being red for several seasons really doesn't bother me.

I am not pro anything I am a Cardiff city supporter/fan and will follow Cardiff through the good times and the bad times. I have seen the bad times and to be honest I know what I would rather.

You say we will be back in blue but that's the answer we are trying to find. How do you suppose we will get back to blue? You say in a few years we will be playing in blue again then who is going to put us back?

Exactly! Bluebird unite got no ambition imo, I respect their thought about retaining identity etc but we are moving forward the way we are now with tan and his ideas he got ambition bluebirds unite haven't imo

I would not go as far as to say they have no ambition. I think they need to tell us what there ambitions are and how they are going to go about voicing there aims.

A get together every now and again is not going to work. Things like family days out with everyone wearing blue is not going to work.

Meeting with the club to air there thoughts would help but trying to get those meetings is going to be hard as we all know.

I have always thought a supporters group should be lobbying VT for a change back to blue at the first mutually beneficial opportunity.

But the OP does sort of raise a very good question. If Bluebirds Unite ever get to speak to VT and put their point across as well as inform him of our history and heritage, what happens next if VT says sorry but it is red or nothing?

At that point do they realise that its VT or blue?

I'm hardly talking hypothetically because the odds are that situation would arise at some point.

Do BU then change tack and verbally state that VT must go because that is the only way to restore blue? Or do they persist to lobby peacefully for change even though no change is on the horizon?
